Lavalier Microphone

OK, I am a bit biased, but for the right reasons. I love DJI products, though they are getting expensive and tougher to find, thanks to an American drone company crying foul as they could not compete with DJI. I won't mention their name, but their name starts with an 'S'. Anyhow, DJI products are all great, at least 4 star and most are 5 star. They are innovative, quality and stand behind their products, though in America, warranties are touch and go, due to being a Chinese company nowadays. This DJI lavalier mike is no different. It works well with the Mic 2 system as well as the mic Mini sets. I am sure it'll work with any hand held wireless system as they all work about the same way. It is crisp and clear and works well. i ended up buying two when they were about half the price before tariffs and availability issues. I use these with both my Mic 2 and Mini Mics and it works great and of course those connect well with my cameras from DJI. The build is pretty good and see no issues. I mean, honestly, most lavaliers feel somewhat cheaply made as they all feel about the same. The test is the sound quality and these do very well. I had owned a DJ business for 30 years and would not hesitate to use these.

A very solid mic! I used it for my go pro and the quality is very clear. Captures a good range of background and voice sound. You can't go wrong with DJI mics. The cord length is pretty short but I'm using it for my camera, so I don't really mind it and prefer a shorter cord actually, but the mic captures well from a couple's inches away from my face. The value for money is great it was $30 for me, and I have no regrets. Very easy to use and set-up. Range is good. I've had it for a couple months and still going strong. If you are looking for a good lav mic this is the cheapest, you'll get a good one for.

Got this DJI lav mic to go with my DJI Mic system and it's been super useful. The main thing is it just looks way more professional - instead of having that chunky transmitter clipped to someone's shirt or collar, you get this clean, almost invisible setup. Audio quality is exactly what you'd expect from DJI - they really know what they're doing and somehow keep the prices reasonable for what you're getting. I've been using their stuff for a while now and they just consistently deliver. One heads up though - if you're working with taller people, the cable might be a bit short. I've had to get creative a few times, like having them tuck the transmitter in a jacket pocket or clip it lower on their shirt where the camera won't catch it. What I really like is that it's got a standard 3.5mm TRS connection, so you're not locked into just using it with DJI gear. I've plugged it into other recorders and transmitters and it works great. I basically keep a couple of these in my kit now. Most of the time the regular setup is fine, but when you need that cleaner, more professional look - like for corporate stuff or interviews - these are perfect. Worth having around for sure.

I find this Lav to be a little crisp and tends to run hot. The base transmitter has excellent sound... adding this lav tends to need the transmitter audio to be -1 to accommodate how hot it runs. Functionally it looks great and works well if you need to hide it behind a tie etc.

Great product and perfect for the job

I use a pair of earbuds when playing games on my Xbox as I can't stand over-ear headphones/headsets, so the mic quality from my earbuds is pretty bad because the in-line mic on the cable is always turning and facing my shirt, and my friends complain my voice is quiet and muffled. I bought an Antlion Audio Y adapter to plug in both the earbuds and this mic, and I have the mic clipped high up on the headphone cable so it's right below my mouth. Friends have said it's a *huge* audio improvement from my end!

Great lavalier mic to pair with the mic transmitter if you don't want to have the transmitter sitting in your shot and make things a bit more discreet.
