The bag is good but you need more!
The bag is a good size but we had to buy better straps the plastic buckles don't let you strap it down tight without it coming unbuckled. Also the tab to the zipper is so weak it broke after a week. We ended up buying better straps that can ratchet tighter and needed to buy better zipper tabs

Kept Contents Dry-Design Could Be Improved
The material for this roof bag is heavyweight and kept the contents dry for the entire 700 mile trip.The design could be improved in several areas:1. The attached loops on the bag don't work that great. They’re there to loop the straps trough to secure the bag to the vehicle. Our bag wasn't perfectly filled like the photo, and the fixed location of the loops don't allow for an irregular-sized load. If the loops could "spin" it would help.2. One set of straps that came with the bag were useless. They didn't keep tension and continued to be loose the entire trip (even when we would stop and tighten the strap). We used our own bungee cords to ensure the pack was stable on the roof.3. The zipper location on the bag could be improved. The zipper basically runs the perimeter of the bag, which means constantly going up and down around the vehicle to close the bag. That design feature may have been the best to keep water out since there is a flap that covers the zipper. I'd also suggest to the manufacturer using larger zipper pulls or attach some type of cord or strap to the pulls to assist the user in pulling the zipper closed.The bag worked fine. My suggestion to buyers have an additional set of bungee cords in case the straps don’t stay tight so you're not worried about losing the bag while driving.

Journey complete! All is well!!!
Feels durable! I like the material used. I'm about to do an 1800 mile journey on the 28th of may. I'll give more feed back when I reach my destination.UPDATE: This product is not bad at all!!! Hit some major wind and rain when going through Texas!!! Serious!!! Thought there was a tornado or something close by, it was pitch black at night on a 2 lane hwy!!! It handled the whole journey!!! It took 75mph like a champ through most of Arizona, New Mexico and Texas!!! Loaded with 5 travel bags!!!

its not complete waterproof
We made a trip from Goodyear, AZ to Chesapeake, VA in June 2019 and on to Mashpee, MA back to Chesapeake. Then onto home, Goodyear, AZ in July. The Heavy Duty Top Carrier was easy to put on top of vehicle. However, the first time zipping it up, the zipper tag used to zip up carrier broke. It was still doable. When we came to a heavy rain that was when the clothing INSIDE of suitcases got wet! However, it was only one or two items that were wet. It was only the two suitcases in the front with the zipper that were effected, all others were dry! So overall I would still use it again, nothing was damaged. You cannot use it If you do not have a rack on your vehicle.

Pretty good value, but keep your expectations in check. And don't expect it to last.
Big. You'll almost certainly be able to run out of roof load limit before you run out of space.So far I used it twice. When putting it on the roof rack I noticed the weatherproof coating is starting to flake off the stress points (corners). I suppose I can get a couple more uses out of it by sealing those spots with silicone caulk or something.Also, the heading claims for cars with or without racks. If there's any hardware that comes to fit it to a car without a rack, I didn't see it. Didn't matter to me because my car has a rack but if yours doesn't, you need to take this into consideration.

Water leaks thru straps
The only thing I didn’t like about the product is if you do not have to storage bars on top of your car and you have to secure straps on the inside of your, if it rains, the water will come in by way of the straps. I had to launder 5 coats that got wet.

Worked Great. Only Issue was zipped tab.
Product worked great no leaks. My only issue was that the zipper tabs broke of after two time zipping it up. Other than that worked good and great for extra storage.

It works but could be better
It didn’t hold as much as it said it would also what they don’t mention is if you don’t have the racks and your to the inside of your car, that when it rains it leaks through inside your vehicle on the roof and drips drown the straps.Needs some improvements
