This before and after is only 1 week from seeding! I’m so impressed with this brand and so happy. Can’t wait to see what it looks like in a month! If you need grass don’t hesitate and buy this seed! This was accomplished with a seeding on level 4 with the seed feeder and watering 3 times a day.

Took almost 3 wks. To grow in the hot summer sun.

I really did not think any grass seed would make grass grow. We live in Virginia in the woods where all the ground is pretty much clay and or dust or weeds. In the first photo, you can see the middle of the yard with lots of balding and bald spots. The entire center of the yard was dust or mud when it rained. This grass seed works wonders. We tilled the ground, threw seed, threw a bit of hay and set up 3 sprinklers on a timer for watering 3 times a day. This is one month later. Growing strong. Good fast growing seeds. Quick delivery.

My soil is bad. It is a dead zone of sand and clay in the lowcountry of south carolina that not even earth worms will be bothered trying to burrow into. It is highly compact and dries out very quickly. I have some massive old live oaks and a big magnolia that will surelu try to kill this yard for years to come. I tried to seed this area 2 times before this with a different brand and had zero success. This time, I prepped by adding nutrients to the top layer. I am not the type to want to use additives or chemicals or pest control. I did however aerate the soil 1st, and thoroughly. I used a manual pusher with the throwing star looking attachments. In retrospect I probably needed a rototiller. Anywho, about 3 days after adding nutrients, I re aerated the whole area and spread the seed using the recommended setting on the bag. I set the sprinklers for a nice 20 minute spritz 2x per day for the first 3 weeks. After that, I adjusted to 1 hour every 3 days. It has now been 5 weeks and 2 days and I'm giving it its first mow once the dew dries off. Fingers crossed! Side note, one of the bags did bust open in transit so this is probably a product worth picking up at a hardware store.
