The Black and Decker BESTA510 is a KEEPER plus it's made in the USA 🇺🇲
Well folks🙂 I have to tell you this has been a nice weed eater that cuts really good and it's LIGHTWEIGHT and it's powerful👍 and at a PRICE that can't be beat...it's way more powerful than some battery and electric weed eaters that I have.. like a Ryobi... And supposedly a commercial grade Ryobi $200 😤.. Anyway 🙂 This electric weed eater is very good and I'll take that PEPSI challenge any day 😀 when comparing it to some other weed eaters PLUS it doesn't USE LINE like other electric weed eaters that I've used.. at least that's been my experience.. This is a KEEPER weed eater from Black & Decker👍....it handles tall grass and even some hedge... though it probably shouldn't be used for hedge but it's TOUGH 😀 and better than any battery weed eater I used especially with the power and cutting... The power alone and convenience of NOT rushing through the job with the battery pack and charging ect imo is worth the cord drag 🙂... and much better than a battery weed eater or other electric weed eaters.. This just cuts better 👍... With MORE power consistently and constantly through the whole job... So in conclusion 🙂 the Black & Decker BESTA510 weed eater in my opinion is a KEEPER and this model has been around for a while which speaks for itself not to mention Black & Decker has been around for years.... This weed eater OVERALL (pound for pound ) is a solid performer with many mostly liking this weed eater and Black & Decker products overall.. Thanks for reading🙂.. I hope my review helps... and Did I mention It's made in the USA...🇺🇲..🙂...

Great Trimmer – Lightweight and Powerful!
I’ve been using this BLACK+DECKER string trimmer for a while now and I’m really impressed. It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and starts up right away without any hassle. Perfect for edging and trimming around my yard, especially in tight spots where a mower can’t reach. The cutting power is strong enough to handle thick grass and weeds, yet it’s not too heavy to use for longer periods of time. I also like how easy it is to replace the string and adjust the handle for comfort. For the price, this trimmer is a great value and makes yard work much easier. Highly recommend it for anyone who wants a reliable and easy-to-use weed eater!

This is a powerful corded edger at a budget price that works well
I rarely give a five star rating to anything, but I would give this at least a 4.5. This Black & Decker edger is SOLID. I had a gas-powered edger for years and I'm tired of keeping the engine running well enough to finish the yard. So I wanted a powerful corded edger at a budget price that works well and I got a powerful corded edger at a budget price that works well. It's light, starts up like a champ and works just like I want it to work. I had to make one small adjustment on it: the roller on the end that allows you to edge needed to be taken off first because it gets in the way when trying to trim near walls and fences. And since I don't edge by turning my edger sideways to do it, it didn't affect my trimming at all.

Excellent product - poor user manual
The product is great, one of the best for the money. Be advised: it comes with one of the worst user manual that I ever seen in my life (if not the worst). Keep an eye in the manual for safety protocols, but for operating it, just go to youtube that you can find excellent videos (even official videos). The equipment is sturdy and made with high-quality materials. Very easy to operate!

No problems all the way to the end of the spool
I had an old Greenworks string trimmer that I found in the basement after I moved into my new home. Maybe it was just old, but the auto-feed didn't work well, the line was always running out, and I spent more time rewinding the spool than cutting down weeds. I had almost lost my faith in string trimmers entirely. You can spend $300 on one, but how much better are they? I didn't know. This Black & Decker was only $50, and although it's corded, my roommate convinced me it was worth not having to do the dance of recharging batteries, plus having full 110v power. Some (easy) assembly required out of the box, and this thing was basically plug & play. I did read through the owner's manual first, which gave amateur me some confidence through a few helpful tips. I use it not only for cutting down weeds, but also for cleaning out weeds from the cracks in my sidewalk, and the edger wheel is very helpful for that. More importantly, the line had no problems all the way to the end of the spool. Faith restored, there are good string trimmers in the world. That being said, be aware that the line it comes with isn't very long. My lawn is medium-size, and it ran out about halfway through. The Black & Decker replacement spools are $10 / 30 ft (much longer), but it goes through line, so this could really add up. Replacing the spool was easy, and I was able to finish my lawn with plenty line to spare. A quick search on Amazon reveals off brand spools at $15 / 12-pack. I haven't tested them yet, but the price difference is so great that I'm going to give them a chance.

The best edger/weed whacker that I’ve ever owned
I have tried many edgers, and I have found that this one is the best in simplicity, easy to use, and produces spectacular results! It’s so easy to assemble and I love that I can use it as a weed whacker and then turn the handle and use it as an edger. The wheel that comes with it makes it so easy to just walk and edge. The size is perfect. It’s not too small not too big. Absolutely easy to use. Highly recommended.

As Darth Vader would say, impressive, most impressive.
Having been used to B&Ds battery units, i wasnt expecting the performance of this corded trimmer. After 6 years of using a B&D battery trimmer, and suffering the last two with battery charging issues, it finally crapped the bed. So i got this, sick of charging batteries and having them last under 10 mins a charge. And if i am honest, the battery units didnt have the power for the tough stuff. This 6.5amp corded unit is a lot louder and more powerful and if you live with St Augustine and or Bahia grass, this unit is the business. It doesn't have the trigger lock like the battery units so be careful, also it uses a two prong cord not the expected 3. It cuts through overgrowth with ease especially if you are edging. The edging wheel is further out than the battery model, so it helps cut through taller st augustine for edging. The only negative is the auto spool. Hence the4 and not 5 stars. I went through the included spool doing half of .12 acres. Luckily i had a spare spool from the battery trimmer, so i was happy they are compatible. The extension cord held in place. Only under stretching the cord did it get unplugged. But watch out not to go over the cord. The trimmer will pick it up quick and wrap it around itself quick. Ask me how i know 😄 Assembly was easy, the only screw is for the trimmer guard and its already screwed into the guard so youll have to unscrew it. The adjustable handle was easy to put on after you realize you have to push both sides in on the trimmer to slip the handle on. But after that, it slips on easy. So yeah. Its a great trimmer. Very powerful but it goes through the spool incredibly fast. Edit: after a few uses, the little plastic piece inside that controls the flow of nylon cord went missing. Not sure what happened. Either way, this wacker has been out of commission for a while as o grapple with the idea of paying black and decker 10$ for a new one tax and shipping included for this tiny piece of plastic.. outside this issue which has never happened with a single wacker before, the review stands. So im dropping my review one star because of it.
