Crusting galore
Bubbles and tons of crusting when I added fragrance. I had to re-do all of my candles with a top layer of pure wax (no fragrance).

Worked good. Had a little smell to it I didn't like. So may try another brand to compare with next time. Is definitely a good product though.

Review for NEW EcoSoya Q220
I've been using Eco soya for years. My favorite was the CB advanced. I was devastated when I heard they were no longer carrying this wax as well as many others. I've been waiting nervously for any type of replacement. Well here it is and it STINKS! It has a bad vinegar smell. I use all natural essential oils in my candles (no synthetics!) When testing this, I used approx 8oz of soy and 1 tbsp of Lavender EO. The vinegar smell diminished a little, but it's still there. The cold throw is poor as well as the hot throw. I'm going to try the Q210 and hopefully it's better. So disappointed!!!!!

Love the wax
Love the wax. But expensive .. Trying to mix it with a harder wax currently for a little cheaper candle!!

Less problems with the cheaper wax...
No matter what temperatures I try for this, I'm having frosting/putting/glass adhesion issues. I have tried everything I've seen in the comments here and any information I've been able to find online about this wax in particular. I'll be going back to the less expensive wax. I thought this would fix the issues I usually get with other soy wax for my candles.

Great soy wax!
I like to use 100% soy wax in place of beeswax for vegan products. This is one of 2 that I know of that has no additional additives, just 100% soy wax. Also works well for wax tarts. The flakes makes it easy to measure. Bummer Ecosoya has discontinued this product, it's getting harder to find and prices have went up.

Great Buy and Great Value!
The Eco Soya CB-Xcel Wax was a great buy and I was most pleased with how it came in flakes. The melting point is low, between 125-145 degrees. Plus since the wax is flaked it melts much quicker; and the wax was conveniently put into two 5lb bags. I was very happy with my purchase.
