Very fast germination like within 4 days they sprout and the leaves are rolled out not disappointed by any means best seeds I've bought off Amazon by far and actually the correct cultivar

No problems with order and the seeds are viable, however it it too early to tell if they are the correct type because they have not grown to flowering yet.

This is advertised as 5,000, and it is beyond exaggeration. There are hardly any seeds here.

I ‘planted’ these seeds last Wednesday (they require light to germinate, so you really just sprinkle them on top of the soil) and three days later was already seeing a number of sprouts. When we looked closely, there were almost too many sprouts to count. I am really excited for these since they look so interesting and I am a poppy fan anyway. I may have to give some to my mother for her garden if they grow nicely. I will update later, but for now, I am happy with these seeds.

I put about 50 seeds in a plastic bag with cold water to stratify it, and left it in the vegetable crisper in my fridge for 1 week and had germination of 10 seeds. Seeds that were left in the fridge for over a month had a germination of 45/50 seeds. Seeds that were not stratified had a germination of 5/50, which in my opinion is decent for poppies.

These are high-quality, very POTENT seeds. In other words, plant them SPARINGLY. Usually the yield from a bag of seeds like that would not be more than 70%, so i planted about 4 per square inch. Well, guess what, just about ALL of them germinated! Amazing. As you see on the pic, i have a roaring crowd in the flower bed. Do not make my mistake - plant about 2 seeds per sq. Inch. Yeah, good news, this bag will last you for a large flower bed. Good stuff and God save the Danish Queen! :).

Excellent quality. If you can’t get these to grow then you’re doing something wrong. Poppies really are very easy to grow. They were actually one of the first things I attempted to grow and even as a beginner I have always had great success, indoor and outdoor and with these seeds so far I have had 100% germination. I put 5 seeds in each of my starter cubes just to be safe and I’ve got 5 sprouts coming out of every single cube. Five stars!
