Nice travel lock box
Upon further review, still 5 stars.Other wants: ability to mount to something, and/or attach a tie-down cable for lockbox in a car.Original review:Love the size and how the foam keeps whatever you put inside in place. Combination change is not too complicated but keeps it secure. Only wish is that it had more metal to keep it secure, hinges stronger, and harder to break or break into.Update:Still great. Did see that it does have the capability to use a security cable to secure it to something and keep it from b3ing run off with as easily.I did read through a bunch of other reviews and here are some observations:- not cheap plastic; definitely reinforced with something that adds to the weight.- the small gap when closed would not be easily messed with and pryed open.- do agree that I wish that the combination did not stay depressed when opened, but after you grab your gun, shut it.- after I saw a comment that you could figure out the combination by how they move when someone depresses the thumb button, I checked and no tell-tell signs, no wiggle, ... nothing. Plus a couple of my kids tried to get I to it and none [my youngest is 11 and oldest is 30] got into it. Seems more likely you showed them how to operate it and they guessed you code from something that you like to use.

This is the perfect protective locking case for fast access
Great product. It is exactly as advertised. It’s a sturdy and safe case designed for safekeeping from very young children, and general protection. People need to understand that this is not a gun safe, or made for long term storage. It’s made for temporary storage and fast access. Also, this is perfect to keep toddlers and young children from your firearms. It is in no way designed to prevent older children from opening it as it is your job as a responsible adult and gun owner to teach your children gun safety and not the job of a box you buy online. Overall, great product made with solid materials.

Takes some getting used to, but it’s great.
They’re not kidding when they say this thing takes a bit of practice, but once you get it down it’s really quite easy and convenient. I swapped out my biometric box for this because of repeated glitching. There’s nothing on this thing that’s going to jam up or get stuck. It’s an impressive device. And 2-for-1 it’s pretty great. One for the house, another for the car. I’d totally buy again.

Keeps out the kiddos
I like the full size as it give you plenty of space for flash light spare mags and a full size cordless hole puncher, in my second one me and my wife can fit our CCW's and extra mags. Easy enough to open for me and keeps the kiddos out this was really all I was looking for!

Its either you love it or hate it
Ok so I have a simple review for this product. If you buy this on sale where it is buy one get one free and split the cost with a friend then yes its a great buy. its fairly compact and just barely fits but canik sfx rival (full size 9mm) with the mag taken out while the gun is cocked back, if you leave the firearm normally in there with a mag it fits good. its build quality could be better, that is, instead of plastic it should be a little more heavy duty. another thing I dislike about it is when you grab to unlock it and you open it the combo stays in so whoever can look at it, for kids probably not the best thing but for those who don't have any kids and the worry of anyone other than yourself opening this it is very fast to open and grab your firearm. The ideal way to use this is having it on your nightstand next to you, its not that big and pretty light so its not that bad overall. to summarize, if its at a good price, you don't have kids, and dont care for the build quality too much then get it.

Smart purchase!
If you have a gun or too (or maybe three, or a bunch), you definitely need these! I was able to purchase it in their BOGO offer for their anniversary celebration and maaan, I tell you, run don't walk, to get yourself a set! They are lightweight yet sturdy and definitely child and fool proof! It's quite easy to set up your "finger password" and once it's locked, IT'S LOCKED. But at the same time, it's super easy to access it when press the right keys, in under 3 seconds. Overall, such a great, innovative and well thought box. Love it, and definitely would recommend it 100%

DANGEROUS: Parents Please Read.
I normally am hesitant to write a negative review because I know that whether something is useful or not is subjective and everyone has a different point of view. I had to share my experience with the StopBox and why I quickly decided it was not for me.First, I will give credit where it's due. The Box is pretty sturdy for what it's supposed to be (It's not a Safe), and unless you have issues with strength in your fingers, it's very easy to use. The combination took some tinkering to change, but it was pretty easy to do so, and overall from that perspective it's what I would call a good product. Now the bad.1) Knowing how it works, if you were to hand me your StopBox without telling me the code, I could have it open in 10 seconds. The locking mechanism is very easy to manipulate in such a way that as long as I can hold the box under my arm, I can determine your combination very quickly just by feeling how the buttons move when you press the thumb button in. It reminds me of a 1980's Masterlock combination lock I had on my high school locker.2) This is the worst part. With ZERO instruction from me as to how to open it, my 10-year daughter had it open in 2 minutes.I would never trust it to secure my firearm in an unlocked room. It's probably good for a travel case where it can slow someone down long enough for you or someone else to intervene, but it won't keep anyone out who has touched one before.Needless to say, I returned it.
