I wish these came with a wiring harness that could plug into the factory side marker bulb and add another ford connection port.The wire taps work fine, but you do have to use a knife or wire splicer if you have one to remove the outer rubber lining BEFORE you attempt to install the wire taps.It took me some time playing with it to figure this out. Eventually, just before I thought about returning this and feeling defeated, I got it to work. The other side was extremely easy to install once I found a methodology.Please be sure to use electrical tape to protect up all your new connections as they are still very exposed to the environment. I recommend using small zip ties to tidy up the wires inside your engine bay.You do not need to use the silicone. It is very messy and ruins the adhesive backing on the LEDs. If you are feeling brave, go for it. But it’s gonna get everywhere.Overall, this thing works and it looks great at night. No too sure how it will look during the day, but the point is to look nice in low light conditions anyway. Just wish the instructions were more detailed so we don’t have to figure this out the hard way.

Have had these on my truck for a year now. They’re great. Zero issues so far. Install was easy and they look awesome. I initially bought a different brand and wasn’t happy. The color didn't match and clashed with the Ford factory lights, they were too dim and the adhesive was garbage. These look factory and not like a cheap, cheesy aftermarket add-on. Install was easy and the adhesive stuck through all 4 Northeast Ohio seasons and weekly drive-through car washes. These are low profile too, so you don’t see the light strip itself, only the orange glow lighting up the vent…looks sick. I have the chrome vents which can reflect and show the led strip, but not with these low profile led’s. Highly recommended.

These are terrible. It’s just a basic 6in led strip. They aren’t sticky enough to stay attached to the vent with the angle you have to bend to. You literally have to glue them in. You could make your own version of this for $20 worth of parts and would only take about 5min of work. Sent mine back.

So far so good. Good instructions with a link to a video. Took maybe 20-30 with a beer to install. Suttle yet bright enough to look great. Looks factory. Worth the $50

There is currently one other review that states these lights are not very bright. They must have installed them backwards because these lights are bright and look great. This photo was taken in the morning hours with the sun popping over the horizon and you can still see the light clearly. At night, these lights look great. Highly recommended!!
