love this so much, found out my maybelline one had horrific ingredient that are super poisonous or something insane. found this from yuka app suggesting something saferi have short lashes, like i wear faux lashes daily type of short. but this is the longest my lashes have ever looked!!! very build able without getting clumpy.i used to lose lashes sometimes when removing mascara but this fixed it, so easy to remove just with water!my new staple go to mascara, and its under $10??? amazing for the price. can't believe this works better than my other one, costs less, is more easily removed, and is made with safer ingredients? i've been trying to put all my friends onto this10/10 this is the one. you don't need to keep trying expensive mascaras

Wow! I am so allelrgic to makeup, but I tried this for a photo and surprise - no reaction! I was able to have it on for about 5 hours with minimal reaction over the time. I was also very pleased at how easily it was removed with just water, but it didn't run when my eyes watered, go figure. I didn't apply it close to the lash line, just midway and tips. Good color, excellent application brush, no smell. I initially used two coats, but then added one more coat for the photo. This is what a mascara is suppoed to do! Bravo.

I'm not great with make up, but this mascara is easy to apply, makes my lashes look so long, and it stays on all day! It works best if you apply many light coats quickly, before they have a chance to dry. Too little and it will probably be flaky.It washes off pretty nicely with water. I splash my face multiple times then rub my eyes a bit to get it off. It comes off in pieces, so you aren't smearing black all over your face!

I bought this mascara because I heard that “tube” mascaras were easier on sensitive eyes, and this one is very reasonably priced so I tried it. It’s now going to be “my” mascara - because all of the issues I had with other mascaras running or flaking and causing my eyes to become red and sore are GONE. It goes on easily and dries pretty fast. Once it does, I never have to worry about it. No flaking at all. When I want to take it off, it comes off in the tubes so quickly and easily I still can’t believe it. No smearing!I do wish it was a bit more voluminizing, but it’s easy to add a layer. It’s so great to not have stinging eyes from mascara any more! I am going to buy this forever! Thanks to all the other reviewers who helped me decide to try this.

Works well but there is better on the market. This tubing mascara is difficult to remove even with the e.l.f. makeup melting remover.The other brand (Revolution Wraplash) I like better has Shea in it, which is good for the lashes and skin and allows the mascara to melt faster. Not scrubbing is nice.In photo I have e.l.f. on one eye and Revlon on the other. You can see how Revlon looks better.

Absolutely love this mascara! It seriously lengthens my lashes like no other. The formula is smooth (not dry at all), doesn’t clump, and best of all - zero irritation, even for my sensitive eyes. Not falling for that hype anymore. This E.l.f. mascara does the job better - for way less.

This is the first time I have ordered and used this mascara, after ordering so many different ones lately. It is perfect. It builds your lashes, helps them separate and does not leave any product on my hooded eye lid. I could not believe it and cannot believe how long it took me to get here. So much money wasted. I was really amazed at the quality and price. I no longer wi have to pay an arm and a leg price for mascara that does the job we all want it to do. And not just this product but 99% of Elf products do an outstanding job and as always, great prices. I highly recommend thus mascara.

This product flakes a tiny bit shortly after you apply it. After that, it basically doesn't flake. It's the least flaky mascara I've ever tried (and I have tried several) and it does not smudge. If I'm in a rush I can even get away with not powdering my undereyes and it's still ok. With other mascaras, even the one I use daily and love, there is no way I can skip powder. I can even do bottom mascara with this no problem.BUT you have to apply it right to prevent flaking. This applies differently than a regular mascara. You have to work faster than fast because it dries very quickly. Finish one eye completely before moving on to the other because you can't touch it up later. It's not a good idea to try to do multiple coats, because the coat you're applying may start peeling up/removing the coat beneath it. It also tends to look more spidery the more you apply. Just apply one really good coat and be done. The thicker you try to build up the product, the more flaking you'll get on the undereyes later. It just wants to be a 1-coat, minimal mascara.This mascara doesn't make your lashes super thick and voluminous, partly because you can't build it up, as I mentioned. Just accept your lashes will look very natural. I'm a brunette and most brown mascaras still have a lot of "oomph" on me. I wish I had gotten the black shade of this instead of brown, because again-- it just doesn't have much impact.I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but I get a lot of lashes falling off when I remove it. I'm concerned the alcohol is drying out my lashes too. So I only use it every now and then.Overall, this is my HG when I need a mascara that will not smudge no matter what. It also is a good choice if you're looking for very natural, gen Z, not clumpy/flaky lashes.
