Master All-Purpose Cement 4 oz (1 each) - White, Paste, contact cement, All-purpose, Industrial use

I’ve been using this brand of glue in Orthotics and Prosthetics for 15 years. It works. I needed a small bottle to keep at the house for my own personal shoe repairs. Perfect little companion to fix my kiddos shoes.Shake before use. Can use thinner or acetone to decrease viscosity. Small brush welded to cap. Paint on a generous layer to both pieces. Allow to dry to release all fumes. Heat with heat gun. Apply carefully because it’s sticky! Follow these steps for easy repairs to soling of shoes, padding, etc. Works very well.

I bought this in order to attach rubber soles to a pair of leather shoes. It worked great at that and has excellent adhesion. Do work with this in a ventilated area, as the smell is quite strong and I hear it is not good to breathe in. Spread on both surfaces, let them dry a bit, and then I like to go over once again with a light coat and let that dry to be tacky. At that point, put the two together and apply pressure.For storage, I saw a recommendation that you can store this upside down to make it last longer, since it will prevent any air from getting to the glue and reacting with it. I then put this inside a cup to make sure if it does spill out, that it's caught.

4-stars for difficulty in application: the brush is messy making precise application difficult. For coarse applications it's OK.

Used this to adhere replacement soles to shoes, works well enough to get additional use from shoes but doesn't exactly make them "as good as new"

This glue has saved me some money. I’ve done 2 sneakers and a sandal with easy and you wouldn’t know that it wasn’t done by a shoe shop. Very good hold. My goodness. Not disappointed at all in my purchase.

I didn't realize this was only 4 oz and thought it was 8 oz as I have previously bought, though not from this seller. Otherwise, Master Glue is better than Barge. It doesn't pill up like Barge and is what I used when I used to make boots.
