I want to start by saying I ordered with Prime and it took 4 days to receive, despite the 2 day guarantee. They drove the package through my city and proceeded to drive 400 miles past my city, only to take two additional days to back track the 400 miles.Irrelevant for my product review, but annoying and inconvenient none the less.This product claims to fix any and all errors with 100% success rate. That's simply not true. Granted, maybe there's just one error it can't fix and that's the one I had, but that's pretty unlikely.I had a "hal.dll is missing" error during my boot cycle, Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit. I couldn't get to the desk top. Via the BIOS, I booted to the DVD drive, and attempted a system repair. I continually got an error about the recovery disk being the wrong one for the location I had selected. After a few hours of tinkering, it appeared that the order of your hard drives is a determining factor for where you can install or repair windows. After getting the order correct, it finally let me access the system repair portion of the prompt. It automatically detected an error during start-up, and repaired it. Well I believed this to be the end, and I was wrong. Still, same "hall.dll is missing" error. After a few more hours and no luck through all avenues I attempted to traverse, I was pretty hopeless.The saving grace of this product is the ability for a fresh install of your OS. That's what I ended up having to do. The product does not come with a CD key, which they state clearly in the description, so you'll need your own.Does this product fix your problem 100% of the time? I suppose that is dependent on what you consider fixed. Is my computer fixed now? Well... yes. At the cost of my data.

I have a ten year old HP laptop which I liked because of it's 17" screen. About a year ago, it started getting very sluggish. So I did the usual. Deleted old programs, music, pictures, docs, etc. I ran anti-Malware, anti-virus software, etc. However, the laptop got to the point where it wouldn't logon properly. I could never get to the power-on password window. I gave up on it and put it up in the closet. I recently put together a nice karaoke system and wanted a laptop to run YouTube karaoke, etc. My old HP laptop would be perfect. I have bought a couple fake Windows 7 recovery USB & downloads that did absolutely nothing. Today, I received your Windows 7 Recovery, Reinstall, Fix DVD I bought on Amazon. Your DVD worked perfectly. Your instructions were very clear too. It was super easy. I'm glad to key hadn't worn off the bottom of laptop. As of right now, my laptop is working like new. I'm highly impressed with your DVD and will highly recommend it.

I had a laptop I wanted to get rid of but I needed to wipe it clean and get it back to its original condition. It cleaned up all the personal data but it stated that I needed to update the drivers which are on a second disk which I didn't order. I contacted the supplier and they sent me the disk I needed for the drivers. I had about 20 drivers that needed updating and it really brought the laptop up to the "fresh out of the box" status and I didn't have to worry about my data. I was so impressed that I used the driver disk on my desktop and it found a bunch of drivers that needed updating. The only thing I was disappointed in was, I was only able to give him 5 stars in my review because his support was great because he got right back to me and helped me with my problem. I recommend that if someone wants this product to order both disks. They are well worth the money.

If you have been hit by a ransomware attack this will reinstall your Windows os . If you are having problems from too much junk on your computer it will do a repair on your Windows os. Vendor furnishes good support but you will have to be a little tech savvy to run this software. Also you will need a backup on files you have installed on your computer. If you are not having problems with your computer now, be sure to back up your files on a cloud or thumb drive and keep one of these handy. It will save your computer from the hacks out there today.

claimed it was all versions.... Did not work for Win 7 Pro

The repair/recovery disc saved my computer and kept me from having to lose all of my work and personal data! I followed the directions on the sheet provided and repaired the startup process for my computer. Thankfully, my computer didn't have any further errors and it was an easy fix with this disc.

Ease of use is great! But lacking important drivers for the Dell Latitude e6520. Had to download wireless/ethernet driver on another computer and load it on target machine before I could download drivers from the web.
