I really don’t know why I waited this long to get a butter crock. Being able to spread soft butter on toast every morning has honestly been such a small but happy change in our routine. The kids love it too — no more fighting with cold, rock-hard butter straight from the fridge. I also really like the look of this one. The matte black finish is modern and clean, and it looks nice sitting out on the counter. It has a solid weight to it, so it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. My only small complaint is that the water line marking could be easier to see. Because it’s black with a very subtle mark, you have to look closely when filling it. Since it’s important not to overfill, I just double-check before closing it up. Overall, it’s simple, practical, and one of those little kitchen things that makes mornings feel smoother.

Cute butter dish that is not too big or too small and keeps butter spreadable. It does its job and is pretty with good quality. I’m happy with my purchase.

This looks really, really cute on my counter top! I love it a lot, actually. I do have to say that prior to buying this, I kept my butter in a regular butter box. I had no issues with spoilage or rancid butter. I only went looking for a new butter container just because I wanted a butter tray that was going to include a spreading knife that was somehow connected to the butter tray top. I just kind of ran across this and I thought it looked really cute; so, I threw the knife idea out the window and I bought this. Here's the truth: I used it as directed when I bought it. I was changing out the water every 3 days and I was using bottled water. My butter got mold in it two times in the first 3 weeks. I was grossed out and frustrated and was thinking about buying a different container for my countertop soft butter. I decided that until I got another container, I was going to pour the water out and just use the Bell without water. I have not bought another butter container. Ever since I stopped putting water in there, I have not had any more issues with mold whatsoever. The butter stays up in the top of the Bell and doesn't fall down even without the water. And it's just as fresh as it's always been in my other butter container. Since I think it's super cute, I'm keeping it and I'm not buying another container. I'm just not going to use water with it. I've had no issues whatsoever since I stopped using water. I don't know how I could have prevented the mold because I was changing the water frequently and I was using bottled water. I would love to say it was user error but I honestly don't know what I could have done differently. All said and done, though, I'm happy! It's adorable and, while I don't know what was going wrong, using it in a different way has prevented that from happening. Very happy with this purchase!

Oh my goodness, I've wanted a butter bell for a long time and finally got around to ordering one. This was a great purchase. The crock is much heavier than I expected it to be. The bell part was easy to fill with a softened stick of butter, and the crock itself has a water line so you know how much water you'll need to add to keep the butter fresh and out of the air. The knob at the top has a deep ridge so it's easy to grab and hold while you scoop out some butter and then replace the bell back into the crock. I was expecting this to be smaller than it actually is; it easily holds an 8 oz. stick of butter and could honestly hold a bit more if you are making your butter at home. Especially for the price point, this is a very high quality crock with lots of color options.

I was never a "butter on the counter" guy. I always felt strange leaving it out. But, I was talked into it, and I'm glad that I was. Having butter that is very easy to spread is a wonderful thing. The fact that its water sealed makes it nice and fresh for a couple of weeks at a time. Its small, so it can fit in any kitchen. I highly recommend.

I love the look of the Kooks Butter Keeper butter dish. It’s easy to maintain and keeps my counter neat. I wish it were large enough to hold one whole stick of butter. It keeps my butter soft, fresh and ready to spread.

Sehr guter Artikel. 500 ml Sahne zu Butter gemacht sind etwas zu viel aber das macht nichts. Material ist sehr gut. Bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Produkt.

The box was completely fine but once i opened it the item was broken with a big piece broken off
