Great product and easy to install
This will work great to deter some mice from chewing where they should not chew. It is pretty thin and formable to fit in almost any area or to even cover a hole. I like this a lot better than copper wool. There is a lot of it in this package much more than I need for a couple holes I see activity in.

Good quality, easy to work with, multi-purpose
We pushed this up under the bottom edge of the house siding, to exclude mice and other small critters. Very easy to cut and shape by hand. We also used it on our roof vents. They all had 1/4" hardware cloth to seal them, but that didn't keep out lots of hornets that built nests, blocking airflow and keeping the vent flaps from working properly. We stretched this copper mesh across the hardware cloth and wrapped around the back - it should be small enough to keep everything out. The vents o ly exhaust air and or moisture - I wouldn't use this mesh on anything that carried solids, like a clothes dryer vent or wood fireplace. This is a great, multipurpose material to have around. I might try it next summer to keep slugs from climbing into large garden pots where we grow vegetables. It's non-toxic and a lot cheaper than the rolls of copper tape.

seems to be a mice deterent
This is a great little addition to put with steel wool to keep mice out of the house. It is very easy to install under siding and into any holes in the foundation. I really liked the thin wooden stick to help shove the mesh under the siding. The scissors work great. They cut the wire smoothly. I bought the bigger roll so i could place it under most of my house. i hope this keeps the mice out. Since i just placed this under my siding i will update to say how well it works at keeping the mice out

Versatile and easy to use
I've been using these in my pots with large stones on top to keep the squirrel out. I also use it a filter screen for our pond to keep debris out of the water reservoir. Very versatile and easy to use.

Works better than other things
What can I say about this? I love the stuff. I had an exterminator come out a few yrs back because I was getting mice in the house. This is what they use to plug corners between siding and foundation and he suggested I use it too. Last year mice were coming in at a spot on the edge of my cement porch floor and I put a layer of cement and then the mesh and then cement over it and haven’t had any problems since. Highly recommend. And it won’t rust like steel wool does. I also don’t get my fingers snapped like when using traps

Stops chipmunks
Had chipmunks under my deck. Ends were boarded shut, but butted onto stone dust and the chipmunks easily dug through that. No luck with Irish Spring or repellants. Put a 4x4 on the ground, but end of deck is irregular and left gaps up to an inch. Stuffed the gaps with this mesh - no more rodents. About a 6 ft run, used 3 layers of mesh the whole run, stuffed one more layer in a few wider spaces. Plenty left over. Easy to cut and staple, easy to fill gaps as it scrunches but resists compacting. No more chipmunks under the deck!! (Still in the garden, that's a different story.

This 5-star kit includes everything you need
I stuffed this copper mesh around hose spigots at my mom’s house after she had a rat in her garage and the pest control guy scared her saying they could get in the walls that way. It was nice that the kit came with quality scissors and a little wooden stick to stuff the mesh with. On each hole I put in some spray expanding foam, stuffed in the copper mesh, topped it with more foam and a hinged escutcheon, and then caulked around it (because the foam discolors to orange in sunlight). The mesh is not sharp at all like coarse steel wool would have been. Supposedly this would get caught in a rodent’s teeth. In any case, my hands appreciated it.

Didn't work as a rodent deterrent
Bought as a rodent deterrent but they chewed through it. Seems to be good quality and is easy to use. I think the rats here have super powers.
