Works great for off- grid chili
Tastes great for off-grid chili. We have no fridge so this works perfectly for us. Didn't taste right in spaghetti sauce but made chili and it was amazing!

Delicious
This cooks-up nice for UL backpacking. Trick is to pre-soak with a little good oil (olive). 15-min pre-soak with olive-oil and it's better than fresh hamburger. Doesn't require perfect heat nor long cooking time (it's pre-cooked and tastes pre-seasoned). Using only a half-oz of alcohol-fuel, quarter-oz of olive-oil, 2oz of this freeze-dried, heat and water to get delicious 8oz hamburger meal. It's the most efficient, light carry-weight, delicious meal on trail.One can lasts a few weeks (14 meals) if one happens to be thru-hiking.

Great product!
I have used this brand for a long time! And now I keep it in the pantry for lazy nights and I'm out of meat in the freezer. Just rehydrate it then cook with it like normal. I will throw some herbs and spices in while I rehydrate. After I drain the water out, when I start making the dish I'll season for real and add my salt and pepper for my recipe.

Great additive for recipes.
I use Mountain House cooked ground beef to add into many foods - like soups and casseroles to make them better. It tastes great and adds flavor to whatever you put it into. It’s spendy, but it goes a long way. One can last me almost a year. I keep the open can in the freezer to keep it fresh. I bought two, so when I open the second can, it’s time to order more again. I think it’s cost effective since there's so much ground beef in a can. I recommend it…

Freakin’ delicious.
I was prepping stored meals because…tariffs… and decided to make a serving of this to taste it. I added some dried seasonings and HOLY MOLY was this beef delicious!!!!!! My son asked me to prepare a serving for him as well after tasting it.I would recommend scooping out carefully to avoid crumbling the pieces, but I also highly recommend this product. I’m going to try the chicken next!
