Product description Orlando Tomato Frito is one of the most iconic ingredients found in Spain. The brand is so well known that it is often referred to as a generic term for any tomato frito sauce. However, this original Orlando Tomato Frito is an intense, sweet tomato sauce made from fried tomatoes, fresh garlic and onions that preserves the nutritious richness of the ingredients and will give much more flavour to dishes than either tinned tomatoes or Italian passata. It is gluten and additive-free, made only from locally sourced tomatoes from la Rioja & Navarra close to where the factory is located. It is perfect to be used as a "sofrito" base for paella or to accompany numerous pasta dishes, fish or use it to enhance chilli con carne, bolognese, casseroles etc. It is an essential ingredient found in nearly every Spanish store cupboard is always there when you need it. This product used to be sold in all the supermarkets and it is easily found in Spanish shops (in Spain). It is a very versatile sauce that can be added to pasta, rice, meat, fish practically anything.It is suitable for vegetarians and, according to the package, gluten free!It's just a great tasty product to have in the cupboard that you can use as and when you want to create simple and/or complicated dishes.Thank you Amazon for getting it back in stock!!
