Tale of the Heart Queen is a great end to this steamy, dramatic series full of magic and adventure. I thoroughly enjoyed this read. Lor is an FMC who is forced to persist through horrible situations and decisions that impact her whole world.

Their relationship, growth, and the way their stories unfolded kept me invested, and by the end, I was both teary-eyed and completely satisfied with how everything concluded.I won’t lie—there were several moments that had me in tears. But despite the tears, I always felt that these emotional moments served the story in a meaningful way. Nisha also ensured that she kept us satisfied with just right amount of spice interwoven into the plot.What really made the book work for me, though, was the ending. It was exactly what Lor and Nadir needed. Their journey was one of growth, pain, and self-discovery, and the way their story came to a close felt both earned and deeply satisfying.I am sad to see Lor and Nadir's story end, but I am looking forward to reading more from Nisha!

Tale of the Heart Queen is the final book in one of my favorite series, Artefacts of Ouranos.This series surrounds Lor, a woman who was locked up as a girl in prison. She is broken out of said prison to participate in the trials to become Sun Queen. This is where the four book adventure begins. For those of you who have not read any of the series (yet!) I do not want to say too much about the adventure, last thing I want to do is spoil it. This final book was the bittersweet ends us fans of this series deserved, Nisha did an amazing job tying it all together and giving us a beautiful happily ever after by the end. It’s bittersweet because I don’t want to leave this world, I have grown to love the characters of this series. Nadir will always be a favorite MMC of mine, always. Lor is a strong woman whom I wish I could be when I grow up. I love the found family aspect of this series, the banter, and the spice. This series is an emotional roller coaster that had me all up in my feels or in tears, happy and sad, multiple times, but I still did not want off the ride. I love this book, I love this series, and it’s definitely one I will do rereads of. If you haven’t read this series yet, I say RUN! go do that NOW! If you have, enjoy this amazing final book, bring the tissues and get ready to cry all different kinds of tears, but there is definitely banter that makes you laugh, and spicy and swoony moments to make your heart oh so happy.

This book begins where Fate of the Sun King ended, so immediately I was drawn into this story because of how book 3 left off!I could not set this book down because I was so anxious for Lor & Nadir to be reunited. And so when it finally happened, I was quite frustrated that all they wanted to do was have sex after being separated. They both kept agreeing to not speak about anything that happened while they were separated, BUT HOW COULD YOU NOT? I personally wasn’t hoping for spice in that moment, I was hoping for some communication & clarification between the two of them. Especially because she killed him… I feel like that is a topic to be discussed immediately.I will say, on the other hand, I did feel satisfied by the closure we got on all of the previously existing plots, but wow were a lot of new ones thrown into this book as well. It was kind of hard to keep up with the new conflicts being added to the prior existing ones.Overall I did thoroughly love this series, and despite this book not being my favorite of the series, it was still a satisfying conclusion.
