Wow! I had no idea. I thought myself pretty bitchin’ before the installment. Easy to install, looks good, the Dial lights are perfect. But once I mellowed everything out on the initial head settings(flat on everything), I then started messing with this thing. Man, oh man, I am super pleased. Above and beyond what I expected. It’s going to take me some time to get everything dialed. I road killed the doors, pillars, everything! So there’s no sound loss. I foamed the front and behind the plates of all speakers. I did everything right, and wow, I’m glad I did. Matched up ohms, rms’s as well as running the shortest wires and cables possible. No crimp-on. Everything soldered. Totally worth all the time and money. Crystal clear and way too loud. I haven’t heard any distortion yet. No clipping. It goes louder than I need it. I’m only running 820watts, rms.

Very good product. Cleared up the muddy, flat sound the head unit produced. 7 volt line driver is awesome. Do recommend.

good does everything right just if you have a phone near it makes a static sound through speaker only problem though

bought one these on a whim 6 years ago and it still pumps strong as the first day i bought it and now gonna buy another to connect to my pc to connect to my boss riot 1100 and my power acoustik 2500d..boss has 2 cerwin vega 12 inch and 2 cerwin vega6.5 and 3 inch tweeter andmy power acoustik pounds 2 12 inch infinitys..sure the subout and rear run the same circuit but one would never know unless they read this..but anyways i took the first one and put it in my car on a solar powered audio system i designed..lol.. which one could say i have harnessed the power of the sun and pound 2 cerwin vegas and a ds18 nex gen 12 inch.... THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST PERFORMING EQ ON THE MARKET TO DATE....BUY THIS ONE DONT WASTE YOUR CASH ANY WHERE ELSE..with that said i have no clue on rockvilles other products.... dont be sorry or dissapointed buy this one

The sound quality that this EQ can offer is my favorite. This is the third one of this model that I have had. That is the problem though. It just isn't durable I am the type of person that cannot leave the controls alone I'm constantly adjusting the levels to my liking and it cannot handle that this most recent one I had I am trying to return now due to it pretty much breaking immediately so therefore it's not very good at all for me anyway. I've had $150 clarion's all the way down to $20 Power Acoustik and this one is my favorite as far as performance and sound quality but the durability just is not there for me.

Received the Rockville 7 band equalizer today. Opened the box and no power supply harness, located the correct harness and purchased it for an additional twenty dollars. Hooked it all up after cutting a larger hole in my dash. Turn my stereo on and it doesn't work. Took it back out and found the remote wire was intermittent. Broke factory seal and resoldered the board, as it was cracked at the solder joint. I could have sent it back, but didn't feel like waiting another week. So much for my warranty now. Why doesn't it come with a harness? After reinstalling I like the way it looks and sounds. Don't really care about the warranty due to how little it cost. I've had great luck with my Rockville products until now. I have a pa system, 2 10"subs, 2 15" subs and 2 rxd t2 2400 watt amps. All been great so far. Would have given 5 stars if didn't have to repair the equalizer.

This very inexpensive piece of car audio gear is probably one of the most important things you can install in your sound system if you want total control of your sound and a better signal to your Amp. Can't say enough good things about it. It's better than most others you'll find on Amazon as well. It has more features you can actually use. It's just great. I wouldn't install an aftermarket stereo system in my vehicle without one.
