This is a great unit if you don't want to mess with an under-sink model.I previously had an ispring under-sink purifier, but moved to a new house with very little space under the sink and opted for this one instead. It's slightly less convenient than just being able to pour directly from a faucet on the sink, but the hot water options are nice to have. I feel like it balances out. It's also WAY easier to change the filters on the countertop model. The water reservoir is easy to refill, it has a nice big handle that makes it easy to move around even when full of water. The water tastes great, our tap water has a lot of chlorine, but the filters seems to take it all out.I actually did have an issue with my purifier, it stopped working after a few months, but iSpring sent me a new one, the process was very easy (just make sure you register your warranty!). John at iSpring provided excellent customer service.

We went with an RO system because we wanted the next level up for purity. What they don’t tell you is you need an electrical outlet in the vicinity of where you plan to install it. Also your water pressure needs to be between 30 and 90 psi. And the actual width of the unit is 9.75” with the tubing protrusions.This installation is for a handyman, which I am one. I spent 2+ hours just reading the instructions and making sure everything was good and I knew what I was doing before I started. Actual instal time was another 2+ hours.RO water tastes almost like distilled but has a spring water freshness about it. We are still getting used to it. A pinch of sea salt helps.The tank holds about 2.5 gallons. Since you rarely use more than a glass or a gallon at t time, the flow comes out real nice. It takes a while to empty out the full 2.5 gallons.So far we are thrilled with how it works and the quality of the water. Haven’t checked on prices to replace 3 filters every year and a forth one every 3 years.I would recommend this system but if you are not a home handyman I reccomemd hiring one to do it for you, not a plumber, to expensive

This is a phenomenal water filter. We just moved to TN and the tap smells like river water. We used to have a whole house filter (RO w/alkaline and arsenic filter). This filter is comparable to our whole house filter. The water smells and tastes great. I love the TDS functionality and it looks modern and everything is digital. The pitchers are a good size to fit in the fridge to keep water cold. The hot feature works great. It’s super easy to use after you learn the buttons. The unit is kind of large and fits under the cabinets on the counter, but the tank goes on the back and I have to move the unit to remove it and put it back. I have opted to set it on a table instead so it’s easier to access the tank on the back. Be careful to read the directions. You can’t leave the water in the tank over 24 hrs or bacteria grows (just like it would with any other water you leave out). This is okay bc they give you two pitchers which is plenty of water until you need to fill the pitchers again. I highly recommend this filter!! Would definitely buy again.

Firstly, this countertop unit is easy to use, setup, understand, and in of high quality. At the time I was looking got a unit that had a better pure/waste ratio and could also provide cold water.There is no leakage when everything is properly installed on the unit, I did however notice you can't put the pitcher down on a flat surface or it will leak water. I don't understand why that as, especially as the unit came with an extra pitcher.Taste is fantastic and size is great as well, all thing considered. It's not wide, but is certainly tall and long.I love the automatic lock button so children don't accidentally burn themselves with very hot water. Filters are a bit expensive but shouldn't have to replace the first until 8 -12 months in. The second RO filter lasts 2 years.Overall, I'm pleased with this unit. I do however wish the cold water could reach below 50° f (40°f would've been more ideal), and I do wish the unit could hold more water or have a better water to waste ratio. I expect significant improvements by many companies currently selling countertop RO units in the coming years.I would wait until it's on sale before pulling the trigger, but it's a fantastic unit. We'll worth is and high quality.
