Great product. Works a treat.
I had lots of paint splashes on the internal wooden beams which were very unsightly. I tried all sorts to get rid to no avail. However, Bartoline TX 10 did the job superbly well. You sometimes need a second coating for bigger and more stubborn areas but more often than not the paint came off with one coating. Do though leave it an hour to do its job. Excellent value for money and the beams look so much better.

Great on varnish but not so good on paint.
You need to allow time on paint as it not like old paint strippers that had stronger chemicals but worse for voc and environment. Did the job eventually.

Best paint stripper on the market
The best paint stripper I've ever seen, easy to use, doesn't smell horrific, took the paint off and ancient door no problem. Only thing is follow the instructions and only leave it for an hour, left the first lot over night, as that's what I used to do with the old stuff, this stuff if left turns to a gloop that's hard to remove. But you can just apply more paint stripper, then your scraper will slide right though the paint/gloop.

It works, it helps, and is worth the money.
Firstly, it's necessary to familiarise with the product description and instruction of use for your own safety and satisfaction from the product. Product is emitting low odour, which is good for sensitive surroundings if working inside. It's slimy-gelly consistency helping to stay on vertical surfaces quite well. In low temperatures its performance can be low and may require longer time to start acting on painted surfaces, and it may be required to repeat it's application more than once. Applied layer must not be thin as it will dry quickly and/or will be absorbed by old paint and will become significantly less effective. Any surfaces covered by multiple layers of paint will require more repeats of its application for complete paint removal. It will work on variety of paint types with different level of performance. Some old paints will be completely dissolved whilst the others might be just softened enough for easy removal with, for example, spatula or similar tool. Do not expect lightning fast effects, it needs time to do it's job. Be aware that it may damage badly composite and plastic materials, including synthetic clothes. May cause discoloration of many materials. So far I have used it for paint removal from the floor wooden skirting, old wooden doors, and from metal flower stand. It did great job as well while cleaning some automotive parts as it removed stubborn dirt from the engine block and from the gearbox. Overall, I think that the size of bottle is wisely chosen for DIY jobs. And the results make it worth the money paid for. Yes, some types of paint may be difficult to remove. But it will work on most well.

Not good enough
I purchased this product two days ago to use on a wooden banister with varnish on it. Unfortunately, it only removed about 10-20% of the paint even after a lot of scrubbing and sanding. It’s just not aggressive enough and requires way too much elbow grease. I had to apply a second layer and even then it only started to blister the paint off a bit. Overall, it doesn’t do what it says on the tin. I wouldn’t buy it again or recommend it.

WORKS WITHIN 1 HOUR.
TRIED A FEW DIFFERENT BRANDS NOT HAPPY TOO STRONG,AND OVERPOWERING SMELL, BUT THIS ONE COVERED A BIG AREA NOT TOO SLOPPY SO IDEAL ON CUPBOARDS AND DOORS WITHOUT MESS OR STRONG SMELL AND AFTER AN HOUR READY FOR SCRAPING OR IF DIFFICULT JOB PUT CLING FILM OVER LEAVE FEW HOURS COMES OFF EASY, GOOD PRICE SO GOT SPARE ONE,

Does the job
I used this product to strip an old varnished coffee table with round carved legs. It worked well creating a paste that can be scrapped off. Its easy to do on a flat surface with a scrapper. However the legs are another matter as I could not use the scrapper on these. In the end I used wire wool, sandpaper, sander, scrubbing brush with water and eventually all the original varnish came off. My learnings were: Its a filthy job. I needed rubber gloves, rags and coverings on the work surface; The coverage figures provided on the various websites are often misleading, a 500ml container will do 2 coats on about 1 sq. metre, I needed 2 coats; an electric sander with a finger attachment would have been a great help; its very time consuming as it took more than half a day to do. However, the product itself does what it claims to do and would buy it again.
