This kit is SO cute. It would be great for someone looking to wax a small area for the first time - upper lip, toes, something like that. I knew what I was getting into but was still annoyed at all of the times I had to microwave in order to melt the wax appropriately - that was just me being lazy and not an issue with the kit. The little mug is so cute and somehow makes it more fun to wax. My only complaint is that the instructions mention to apply sliick soothing oil after use, but that is not included in the kit.

This waxing kit is aesthetic, functional, and convenient. It comes with everything you need to wax (small areas, I would recommend), and looks great while doing so. Heating up the beads would be the one part that could be tricky, as it is dependent on a handful of factors. But overall, this waxing kit is easy to utilize and is great for people like me who don't want to get pots or glassware messy while trying to heat up some wax.

I am a regular at-home waxer and own a wax warmer and plenty of waxes. However, sometimes I just need to quickly wax my upper lip and don't want to wait 20-30 min for my wax to melt, so I wanted to test out this product. For $32, I wasn't expecting superior quality, but I was expecting something to get the job done. The cup is relatively small, so this isn't a product that will work well for large body areas (e.g., legs, arms, etc.). You get a small amount of beads that will likely last you ~10 upper lip waxes. The directions recommend microwaving the beads for 45 min. increments, and it will take about 3-5x to get the beads fully melted.I am not a fan of the spatula that comes with the wax set. The upper portion is very flimsy and makes it difficult to actually apply the product appropriately. The cup is nice- easy to clean and the handle doesn't get too hot in the microwave. I cleaned my upper lip, added powder, and then applied the wax. It removed a few hairs but took 4 tries to get most of the hair out. I had to reheat the wax in-between because it hardens so quickly. Its a nice concept, but the wax quality needs to be improved significantly.

Love this waxing kit! The wax beads are super easy to melt and the fragrance is pleasing to the nose without being off-putting or super strong like some other at-home wax melts I've tried. The spatula also spreads the wax really well and makes everything really easy. Great gift for anyone who wants to pamper themselves.

This is probably only useful if you plan to wax very small areas very infrequently. Placing this in the microwave 10x to wax legs is kind of silly. I ended up buying a wax heater instead and am very happy with that purchase!
