Typhoon Living Cream Cookie Storage

I needed a new biscuit barrel, preferably cream and one that actually kept the biscuits fresh. I saw this and it seemed to fit the bill. I’m really pleased with it. It’s a good size. I can get two packets of biscuits inside without unwrapping them and the contents of three packets when unwrapped ( not the extra large packet size). It’s a really nice finish and very easy to clean in warm soapy water. The lid is bamboo so I didn’t submerge this in water. I just wiped it over. The lid has a plastic strip around it that creates the seal. This strip can be removed for cleaning and is easy to pop back into place. I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and I’m pleased to report my biscuits have remained fresh, crunchy and tasty. I note some reviewers had problems with the seal coming off but I’ve not encountered any issues. This feels and looks great quality and is definitely worth the money. I’m super pleased with my purchase.

Very nice cookie jar witha tight-fitting bamboo lid. Everything has stayed fresh and in perfect condition.

This biscuit barrel is lovely - pretty colour and big enough to take four packets of custard creams! Quality is excellent and the seal in the lid is strong. I bought the tea, coffee and sugar canisters as well - love them!

Bought this (Biscuit/Cookie Storage) as a compromise to match the kitchen colour scheme, I really liked the design. This is a cavernous biscuit tin. It is HUGE, really it is a little too big for our purposes, it will take about three packets of biscuits, if not more. The seals are really good on all of this range. There is a silicone seal which sits in a groove in the bamboo lid. On ours there is a small patch of paint on the bottom that is a little defective (may be due to mis-handling on our part, hard to say now) and the groove in the lid was very close to the bottom edge of the lid, and a little section has broken away and reduced the seal slightly. Both relatively small defects, that didn't get noticed for 3 to 6 months, but given these were not cheap, I was expecting better.

Good quality and I like the simple design with the crest on it that has Typhoon Cookies on the front in silver. Container is lightweight so not likely to be dropped like heavy ceramic ones. The lid is tightly fitted with a edging seal that keeps it airtight. I don't usually go for this modern style of kitchenware but I am surprised how well it does match my overall country style. No handle on the top which was a bit weird for me at first, but a quick lift of the lid using your fingers lifts it open.

Looks good. Good for using as a display piece. Cant really use it in kitchen since its too delicate and thin metal. Paint keeps chipping off.

The product was dented and the paint was chipped off. Packaging was also very basic, it did not even have a cardboard box- which may have led to the damage. It is a beautiful,classy product if available in good condition.
