Easy to use once you get it together
I put this together by myself (would not recommend) and the instructions were awful. You can figure it out but it takes patience and some problem solving skills. Otherwise it is easy to use and works perfectly for me taking the jeep top off alone.

Abhorrent instructions.
Have not fully assembled it yet and will update my review once I’ve used it.As others have stated, the instructions are HORRIBLE! TINY print, need a magnifying glass. I’m not kidding. Have to guess which bolts and washers to use, that is not marked. I’ve never seen such horrible build instructions. I have had 2 of these type lifts before this one, the big name brand, and those instructions were great but that lift was more than double the price of this one. So if you’re not good at building things, that alone you may think about buying the more expensive lift.It seems to be of good quality and if it weren’t for the instructions I’d probably get it 4 or 5 stars.

It works after a fashion.
The photos and drawings in the instructions are challenging to follow at times. The lowest height seemed to be about 1/2" to high to clear my rear window's wiper moter. The lift does require some level of strength and weight to operate.

Does the job with a little effort.
Not as easy as one with a crank lifting system but it does the job. A major issue is the instructions. They are not extremely clear and are printed VERY SMALL. That results in the pictures being pretty worthless. An exercise in analytical thinking.

Doesn’t work for a 2 door jeep.
Doesn’t work for a 2 door jeep. It goes where the roll bars are and will not work
