Supernatural - the Unholy Cause

K I love supernatural well mostly Dean and Sam because they make the story more fun. I rate this book 10/10 and I never read book but until supernatural book came out and it helps me to read more and helps me with my letters because I try my best to make the best to make the words make sense. Thanks you for helping me read Joe Schreiber you are the best book written in the world I love supernatural .

A great story and the author has actually watched the series and has a feel for the characters. The action is well written and takes you along at a nice pace. Would recommend.

An amazing story told perfectly. Be warned you start reading this, and you may not put it down until you've finished, so make sure you have the time! 😉😉

Overall, this is a good original story. I felt it was generally well written with good characterisation of both Sam and Dean. It isn't without faults - but then, what book is? Before I go into my criticism however, I would like to make the point that I did enjoy this story overall despite my critique. It's not a book I would choose to read again, but it was entertaining enough for the few hours it took to get through. One negative for me (and I am aware that this is largely down to personal preference) is that the story seemed to be a bit long winded and a tad boring in parts. I wondered a few times, especially in the early chapters, when anything terribly interesting was going to happen. Nothing really grabbed my attention or pulled me in to the story, giving me that feeling all readers love - the need to know what happens next. I could have elected to put it down and not read on at any point, and I know I would not have felt as though I'd missed out on anything exciting. Castiel was also not written terribly well, but was about passable for the few times he was used. I was very disappointed that he was only really used as a convenient plot device a couple of times by the author purely to get the boys out of an otherwise hopeless situation and then vanishes without a word. I'm not saying this is an implausible or by any means impossible feat in the Supernatural universe, as Cas has been known to get Sam and Dean out of many a sticky situation in the TV show. But for a novel, it just seemed like an ultimately very easy (for the author) and (for the reader) very disappointing way to resolve an otherwise tense situation. Cas is featured in a couple of other scenes without the boys, but to be honest, the scarcity of his appearances and what he does/has to say add very little colour to the story. Aside from that, the story was generally enjoyable. I'm sure any fan of the show would enjoy it, but don't expect to be as hooked to the words on the pages of this book as we can so often be to the story unravelling on our television screens.

Must have for supernatural fans

If you are a fan of the tv series is supernatural then you will surely love this book. You get to read about hunts that Sam and dean go on that don't get shown in the show. I would highly recommend this book.

I enjoyed the story before this one and in general I enjoyed this one however in some parts I did find myself drifting off or getting distracted. But overall a good read and can still hear the characters speaking in my head as if I'm watching the programme.

Really enjoying the supernatural books. Fun, easy to read bit of entertainment. I have bought them all now and enjoyed all.

Here it is. You definitely love this! The idea that the Civil War re-enactment involved in Supernatural was nice. I've also read a couple of author interviews. Thank you very very much Joe Schreiber. So appreciate your writing a well thought-out novel.

Un très bon tome de la série ! L'histoire est forte et bien pensée. Quant à la narration, rien à redire. Et en plus de cela, l'atmosphère générale du roman m'a rappelée celle de la série, et j'ai eu l'impression de regarder un épisode ! Très bon !

Es ist schön die Geschichten zwischen den Folgen der Serie zu erleben. Während man liest fühlt man sich als wäre man wieder zurück ins "Family Business".

Ótimo livro, veio novinho e bem embalado. A história é muito boa. Se você for fã da série eu recomendo bastante a leitura. Mesmo quem não for fã será uma ótima história de ficção que te prende do início ao fim. Recomendo!
