Great PC speakers
These have been a great value upgrade to my old pc speakers. The light effects are cool and the sound is great. I really like the base of the sub. They’re a nice size, don’t take too much room on the desk, and were easy to install. Very happy with these so far!

Pebbles overview
Awesome speakers, super bass, proper thump and chesty. Will fill the room with sound. Each speaker is slightly bigger than the average first. The LED lights are cool. Can be changed with software. The software was a bit difficult to get working but must be plugged in with USB C to computer to control lighting. It can be connected to extra USB C for more power too which done make a big difference. Bluetooth, aux and USB C all easy to connect and use. Build quality is great the rubber bottom to the table top speakers are grippier than expected. Over all a fantastic product for the cost.

Good
Works well with games and a decent sound card.

Excellent speakers
Nice speakers, look good and sound great. I had been using a pair of studio monitors which may be better for music but my main use is gaming (flight sims and space games) and these are definitely more immersive with these speakers. The leds are a bit underwhelming and I have turned them off. Overall though these are excellent speakers for the price.

Creative, my goto for 35 years, for gaming, ill not change.
Absolutely fantastic, nephew got a gaming pc, i grew up as pcs were introduced, i built them, fave card for ganing was the old awe64, so of course I went to creative; wouldnt have gone anywhere else. Now, 35 years since that awe64, this Pebble X Plus 2.1 sounded awesome, first track he played was Notorius, him, his Dad and myself were all very happy with the sound. Its rare to see that satisfied smile on my brithers face, but he was very happy for his son. He loved the led additions and lights, but the sound and functionality is where its at, whether his pc, console or bluetooth from his phone, he has speakers that will last.

Best USB-C PC speakers you'll find in this range
Finally managed to find a very decent pair of compact USB-C powered speakers. I have been looking and searching for many years for high quality, god sounding PC speakers that are good for music and video and these finally meet the mark. The last good ones I had were a pair of 2.1 Logitech speakers I bought maybe 15 years ago. Anything Logitech has made since have been garbage. The bas is pretty good - not too heavy and not understated. The audio quality coming from for speakers are decent quality. I think my only criticism is that the maximum volume isn't super loud, but it's definitely loud enough.

Style over sound
These are designed to be looked at rather than heard. With a sufficient powerful power supply - one's not included, just a USB C cable?! - the sound is OK if you're playing dance music. It's not bad if you're playing something less bassy (that is an improvement on some Creative headphones!) but it's nowhere near what you could get by paying less for some bookcase Bluetooth speakers or some old passive speakers plus a Bluetooth amp. Not that these are designed to be put on a bookcase: the angle of the two side speakers is very definitely pointed upwards. These are wanting to be on the floor if you're sitting down a couple of metres away, or perhaps towards the back of a desk at the level of the keyboard. The amplifier in these is in the right hand one of the pair. This is combined with having a fairly short and very definitely fixed cable to the left hand one - forget having them more than a metre apart - and an equally fixed but slightly longer one to the sub-woofer. "My sub-woofer goes up to three..." The sub-woofer has three speakers: one fairly small powered one facing forwards and two smaller passive ones to the sides. One of the first things you learn when doing sound in school physics is that humans are not good at telling which direction low frequency sound is coming from. Having three speakers (OK, one plus two echos) pointing in different directions for the low notes is just silly and having them be small ones limits just what they can do on those low notes... but hey, it looks neat, doesn't it? Also in the 'there to be looked at, not listened to' category are the lights on the main two. These have a number of patterns you can cycle through, but the one that's supposed to be the equivalent of a sound meter is terrible. Some of the others aren't bad, but you can also turn them off, fortunately. As with much Creative kit, you can use their app to tweak stuff. As with much Creative kit when it's new, you can't tweak much - these could really use an EQ control so you can adjust the sound, but you can only play with the lights. That may or may not change. At the price point - currently £115 or so with the silly tickbox 'voucher' - there is no excuse for not having any Bluetooth codecs beyond the basic SBC.

Value for money
Good quality speakers. Sound decent. Good enough for my taste. Neither too loud nor too shallow sounding. Compact size. Overall good purchase.
