Boggle

This simple 4X4 word game, Boggle, is a great way to interact with kids and adults of all ages. This was the first time I had purchased a previously owned game online. The condition was excellent but the timer was faulty. After notifying the seller via Amazon, she was willing to rectify it any way I wanted including a full refund plus postage. I ended up purchasing a timer for which she reimbursed me double my cost for the inconvenience. The seller was Anything's Possible. I would feel confident to do business with her in the future.

This is the original Boggle game that I have been searching for. I finally found it on Amazon! I love this game. I play this with my husband and daughter(age 12) and even though they are not the best at spelling, like I am, it helps them learn along the way. Now, we all start to make up words that we think might be in the dictionary and have fun looking them up and finding their meaning.

Boggle is a great game for anyone who can read & write (although they do make a Boggle Jr. game as well).. Each round of the game lasts 3 minutes and you can play as many rounds as you would like. The only thing that I do not love about this game is that the cubes can get lost very easily if not put away. This is the second time I have had to purchase this product for that very reason.

This is not a criticism of the ORIGINAL Boggle, a wonderful game that has now been replaced by a "new, improved" piece of junk. Nor am I criticizing The Education Station; they aren't responsible for the picture of the product which Amazon has put up here, and when they realized that they had inadvertently sent me an item that wasn't the one I thought I was ordering, they very promptly corrected the mix-up. BUT IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE TRADITIONAL, OLDER (AND MUCH BETTER!) VERSION OF BOGGLE THAT IS PICTURED HERE, BE AWARE THAT THIS IS NOT WHAT IS BEING SOLD!! If you like the new version, by all means buy it here; if not, keep looking. For some reason the older and much better version has become hard to find.

I love this game. It's so simple. I can play it with my 6 year old, or with my husband. As long as you can spell a handful of three letter words you can play. The fact that it only takes 5 minutes to play a round (counting 2 minutes to find words and 3 minutes to go over the lists of what you've found), you can play even when you have a few minutes. It's a good way to encourage reading and writing for the very young and nice to have a game all ages in our family can play.

I bought this for my husband as he loves this game and used to play frequently. Over the years we had lost some of the letter cubes and for his birthday I surprised him with a new one. I assume it is out of production which is why it was so outrageously expensive. In spite of that, it was the original version and exactly what he wanted so I bit the bullet and paid the premium. I'm very glad I did as he was quite tickled with the surprise. Thanks Amazon for having what I was looking for - again!

My boyfriend and I, both in our 30's, played this on the beach for hours..we even had a stranger, who was sitting nearby with his friends and coveting our game, come and ask to play. It's so easy to whip out and start playing and it gets your mind working. Boggle rules. However, this particular set is way over-priced considering I also paid shipping. It's cheap and plastic and the letters don't fall neatly into the grooves. It's worth about 5 bucks but I paid over 20. Still, until the plastic cracks, I'm getting a lot of use out of it and making everyone at the beach jealous.

I love to play this game with my relatives and friends. It is so exiting and very familiar game and a good way to the kids to learn to speeling better.
