Great product - I bought it to extend my bike rack so I could open the tailgate on a Subaru Outback. It did the job well and is a quality item. The insert fit easily into my Draw-tite hitch and the receiver accepted my Thule bike rack with no problems.It does add some sway when loaded with bikes and I bought an anti-rattle bracket to help. It helped with noise but there is still increased sway, although I don't think it's enough of a problem to prevent using the extender if you need it.Price was fair and delivery was reasonable. Would recommend seller and product.

Needed a bit of extension for my fat tire bike rack to "clear" back of my RV.Coupled this with the ABN Hitch Tightener (reviewed here) Fit and finishrivals more expensive one's I've used in the past...love saving a buck. It'ssuper solid and I'd buy another if I had the need. Dual purpose applicationin my case. A little preventative "cushion" for folks parking too close behind.Prior to installation a vulnerable ground effects bumper was all between themand my rig. Had a lady hit my Xterra at a light and only damage to me was alicense plate light housing...$1600 to her Lexus SUV. Just sayin'

I ordered this for a friend who bought a cargo carrier for the back of his Jeep. Turns out the tube on the carrier wasn't long enough to clear the spare tire. This 8 inch extension gave us plenty of room to mount the carrier. The only thing that would make it better is if it included the pin to secure it. If you're going to install and extension, you almost certainly are going to need another pin.

The hitch and extendor di dnot match the hole s to install the pins, so I cut the hitch a small aount so the holes match. I am not sure i fteh ectendor is made to small to allow the hotch to enter or the hitch to big? Recommend the product and was lucky to have a tool to cut it... if not I ouwl have had to return it

For that , I am thankful. Not much of a review outside of the fact, that it fits!!! It's durable and it's heavy weighted. Currently, waiting for the hitch locks (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DNWHQB3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and the stabilizer (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JDD8L3H/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ). Quite frankly, I don't even know if I need those items. I wanted to cover all bases. And, we are off to a great, seamless and stress-less start thanks to this hitch extender.

i own a 2007 jeep liberty that has spare tire on door. perfect fit not to much distance or too little. the price cannot be beat. you will need to get 1 hitch pin to attach the extesion to your current hithc.
