Fiskars Grass Shears, Long Handle, 36" Handle Lawn Shears for Trimming Grass while Standing, Lawn Cutter with 360-Degree Swivel Blade

Just received the item today. Was really excited to try it when I saw it. It was fun. My concerns from other reviews was its weight and amount of physical effort that would be required by my hands. I held it with both hands. I did not have a problem. It cut well for all the tall weeds and will help me to get the edges my manual mower can’t. It cut bunches of grass but a little less gracefully- like cutting large stacks of paper with scissors. I was also worried if the height would be tall enough. I did not have to stoop. (I am 60-65 inches tall.) I appreciate the thought that went into inventing this item. It is easy to use, not intimidating, and will be easy to clean and sharpen the blades. My only frustration is a lack of a storage case to cover the blades and securely store it in the garage. Other than that, yay to the end of landscaping machines!

I'm very impressed with these. Very sharp light easy to use.I use them for cutting down thornet vines to ground level rather than pulling them.These are nice especially for tight areas. I was tired of trying to get close with weed eater only to chop down good plants.Great to cutting weeds and mulching in place.

Seems to work okay, but just used it briefly when I got it. However, it was shipped in a huge lightweight box, and was not secured with anything, just some loose paper in the box. It probably got tossed around a lot in shipping, so don't know if it was damaged somehow. The supposedly protective open-end plastic cover was not on the edge of the shears and was in the plastic package that the shears came in. The shears had punched a hole through the box.

I’m in love with this gem of a product. Don’t let it fool you. It has saved me! When my weed whacker died I turned to this and I was able to get the job done with an even more precise cut. I even cleared a portion of my lot that was the most intimidating. Stunned!! I highly recommend and I’m so grateful to Fiskars! Get one! You will be so happy you did. It’s quite mighty!

I was looking for a maual way to to manage the grass that the lawn mower does not or can't catch because of location. I nwver knew there was something like this. I LOVE IT!!! So easy to go around and hit the needed spots. So sharp. And I had no idea when I made the purchase that the blade can be turned and it gives you multiple positions to set the blade depending on where you are cutting the grass. One of my best Spring purchases for caring for my lawn since I fired the people who were cutting my grass and the people who were treating my grass. If you want things done right - sometimes you have to just do it yourself!

The shears did a fantastic job around the potted plants in my front yard, but within 30 minutes they caused a terrible blister, and the skin actually came off, leaving a raw wound, and this was while wearing gloves. I will wear my suede heavy duty gloves over my "weeding" gloves next time I use them, which I hope prevents this from happening. As far as trimming the grass, they were great.

Grass shares are well-made and easy to use, do an exceptional job at trimming the grass around the flowerbeds.

I haven’t used it yet; but, the review is for the packaging. The blade was sticking out the bottom of the shipping carboard box. Hole was bigger than a quarter. There needs to be a removable shield so to keep it from breaking through the thin plastic bag. And then the sharp blade was able to break through the box.Removable Shield would be for FOR EVERYONE’S SAFETY when handling the long box in transit. Or package padding would work.I give the product a 5 star; because, it looks very well made.
