I initially purchased a baby monitor that used a phone app to display but quickly realized a dedicated screen is necessary so you can use phone while also monitoring the baby. Ordered this unit and got it the same day. I had it working with minutes after unboxing. The camera paired to the base unit with no issues. The field of vision is great on the camera. The night vision is good. What I really like is the strength if signal between the camera and the base unit - we have a two story and the signal is dull no matter where I go in the house and even out to the garage.I love hire easy the controls are to use on the base unit. You can zoom in, adjust the brightness and volume, and the pan and tilt is fantastic. I really appreciate the dedicated sound level meter so you can tell if the baby is crying even if the volume is muted. The status bar at the top of the screen lets you check volume level, signal strength, temperature and battery.For the money, this product does not disappointment! A very good value!A couple of things I would like to see in future versions would be USB-C charger ports for bother the camera and base unit. Also a way to view the canners on your phone would be amazing.I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to purchase a baby monitor!!

I am so happy I got the larger screen. This is an amazing unit for the price and functionality. Well made and has a large bright screen. I can see far more detail than previously. It also has a really good range. Although my previous baby cam, made by a competitor, advertised the same distance, it doesn't come close to this one. I can now move from room to room without losing connectivity. Audio quality is good. It has no wi fi--the AI comments and other reviews are confusing on this point--which is what I wanted. I did not want yet another glitchy device on my network, plus this has battery back up. Highly recommend for children, pets, or elder care.

The best baby monitor! The set up and instructions are so simple and easy to follow! Installing the camera took a minute and all you need is a screw driver! The sound quality is amazing, the battery life lasts a long time before to need to charge, and the other features included such as the sounds it can make (lullaby etc) are great! You can also easily communicate to your child through the camera and the monitor. Charging card and power cord are long which is always a plus! You 100% get the best value for your money with this camera. Can’t recommend enough!

This is such an amazing monitor. I love the 360 degree motion so I don't have to have it stuck to the wall it's currently on a shelf in her room and I can view the entire room. The eco mode is great I can go a couple days without having to charge it but the minute she makes a noise the monitor turns on. The screen is BIG which is a huge bonus especially if you have an additional camera the split screen is still a great size. At night the camera works great I've had absolutely no issue seeing her night/day. It's a bonus that I don't need Wifi. I would definitely buy this if you're looking for a monitor.

Fantastic baby monitor! We upgraded to this monitor when our 2nd was born and have been loving it!PROS: I can view both rooms at one time with the split screen if needed. No Wifi needed, just plug-in, pair the cameras and it's then all set. (Easy set up) The battery life is surprisingly good. It has 3 levels of sensitivity for ECO mode. The night vision and display are waayyy better than our other HelloBaby single camera, 3in monitor that we had before this. The night vision is way faster and batter at adjusting than the old one too. The audio comes in loud and clear. I really appreciate being about to remotely adjust the camera view up and down as well as left and right (it has really come in handy now that our toddler is no longer in a crib)CONS: I wish the little power light indicator wasn't so bright, it was keeping me up at night. I had to get creative and made a cover for it that allows the light to still be seen but cuts the brightness. The talk back feature from the patent unit into the kids camera isn't stellar, it's pretty quiet but does work(not something we have needed to use much)Overall this is a great unit and worth the money (we got it on sale), I would recommend it!The pictures show the split screen in low light/night mode and of the DIY power indicator light dimmer (a hole punched piece of paper bag taped over the light)

We used to have a more complex baby monitor which connected to WiFi and our phones. Connection and resolution was always poor. The Hello Baby monitor not only has a very nice resolution and a large screen, but the lack of use of WiFi makes this such a simple product to set up and travel with! The monitor comes with fun options such as soft lullabies and split screen options for multiple kiddos. Lastly, the actual company’s customer service is responsive and very helpful if questions come up.Great bang for your buck and durable product!
