Foundation Balm

I was very pleasantly surprised with this! It gave me great even coverage and even skin tone without feeling heavy and greasy. It was pretty easy to apply. I wore it for over 15 hours before I took it off and it wore great. I hadn't even used primer. The shell shade was a perfect match and that rarely happens.

I ordered 2-shades Warm Vanilla and Wheat. The Wheat did nothing as far as color for my complexion, but the Warm Vanilla made skin POP-look bright instead of blah and washed out! I'm still on the fence because I wanted a little more color wondering if I should order Peach or Sand? The price makes it affordable and able to purchase multiples too! I can still use both colors I originally ordered! I love how it feels cool when it's first applied, and what's really great it doesn't transfer, no stickiness, and seems to dry on contact! My skin is very dry & peels with hanging skin all the time & being oily on the T-zone, + I have Rosacea with Redness! This cream foundation is able to address all those problems giving me a natural no makeup look without having to use powder anymore! At 70 Powder is no longer a go to option! I was using Laura Geller but it was getting to be too expensive! I'm glad I took a chance trying this also, I was shocked to see that when I applied it-it was with no moisturizer or primer, just this product alone, my skin looks poreless & smooth with no dry flakey skin! I do highly recommend it!

I purchased the SHEGLAM Hydrating Cream Full Coverage Foundation Balm in the color Fair. The color is very forgiving and does not have a yellow or orange cast, nor does it seem to oxidize. It is definitely full coverage but can be sheared out if desired. It is lightweight and comfortable. The only con is that the formula in the packaging is dry and not quite so easy to blend but this does not take away from the beautiful coverage or almost flawless skin finish. Just makes it a little more difficult to work with. If you can get past the blending part, it is quite a beautiful foundation balm. Does not make the skin feel dry at all and is not cakey. Long lasting formula.

Honestly, this foundation is way nicer than the price tag would lead you to believe. First off, it comes in really nice pacakging, with the jar itself having its own little dustbag and a little pamphlet telling you all about the product. When you first use this, be careful! It is thick but very soft, and a little goes a very long way. I use one of those super-thin foundation brushes to apply this, and I just barely touch the brush into the product. The phamplet says this is a water-oil combo formula and I believe it, it spreads like a dream and is not at all drying to my skin. Even my perpetually angry skin on my cheecks likes this stuff, which is amazing. I do set this with powder and have not had any wear issues, everything stays where it's supposed to until I take it off. It's not advertised as a longwear foundation and it does stay pretty wet without powder or setting spray. I also haven't noticed this oxidizing at all, the color it is when you put it on is the color it will stay. If you've wanted to try out a fondation balm but don't want to spend a ton of money, this is a good choice.

I wasn't expecting much when I ordered this. I'm 57 and my skin has changed, so I'm always on the lookout for a good foundation. Powder types are horrible for mature skin, I haven't found a serum type I like. Liquid foundations are hit or miss. I thought for the price if it didn't work out I could give it to my daughter, who is a makeup hoarder lol Well, she got this one as well. Looks great on her younger skin, but not on mature skin. I will say the color match was very good(fair/medium, neutral skin tone). It is buildable, but settled into all the fine lines and even with setting spray didn't last long. Again, it works great for my daughter who's in her 30's, but for it definitely wasn't for my mature skin.

Very easy to mix with other cream and really slide on with finger or brush! Love it!

Greasy , no coverage !! Then if you put to much it’s caky and sticky !! Would not buy again , makes my face itch

This product is perfect for me. I use it more like a concealer and use it around my eyes and several areas on my face. It blends in beautifully and does not settle into the creases around my eyes nor does it go on heavy or cakey. It's very creamy and easy to work with. I will buy this product again

Packaging and presentation are lovely. Texture has a LOT of slip, and is great for dry skin. Coverage is fairly sheer to moderate, but buildable. I recommend apply with your fingers first, then blend with your brush or sponge. It is very creamy, and easy to work with. No offensive smell either.

So I have never heard of this brand until it show up on my Amazon . I am 47 years old I was looking for something comfortable that would cover my redness and stay comfortably with out looking cakey. I was also looking for a good quality affordable makeup. This was great i use it today . I got nice compliments from my church’s goers and feels light and so far has not settle in my pores. I am happy with this purchase .
