Simply awesome, MUST HAVE upgrade
The stock X1C light is laughable, hardly lights up the build space through the camera or in person. I tried another light kit that had 3 individual LED strips, and although it produced great light in person, it completely ruined the camera view, just washed everything out... This one however, PREFECT light output. Lights up good in person, and shows AMAZING detail through the camera. The details in dark filament are visible, and the light colors (specifically white) aren't washed out into a giant blurr. It really does hit the lighting sweet spot. The magnets make for a super easy and clean install, the light doesn't get in the way of the tool head in any of its movements (which it really only comes close to it during homing and extrusion calibration). My only gripe is that the wire lead on the light could be just a smidgen longer. I had to use the included splitter as an extension basically to keep tension off the wire when closing the plastic cover. I could probably mount the splitter a little better instead of just "hanging" it where it is, but that's on me, not the light or how it's designed. Not ideal, but it works. I don't plan on trying to run both it and the stock light because A) I don't really see the need after seeing this single bar's lighting performance, and B) there's a lot of discussion about the rated output for the lighting circuit and how running both lights can overload it, I'd rather just not risk it. Overall, a MUST for any P1/X1 in my opinion!

Major upgrade over the stock light!
This was very easy to install and took less than 2 mins. They seem to have fixed the shorter wire length that I had heard complained about in other reviews, as mine easily reached. This makes it much brighter than the stock light and much more easy to see while in front of the printer. I will say that the brightness does make the webcam ever so slightly washed out and less detailed than the stock light, but that is a pretty nit-picky comment and not something that would make shy away from it. Well worth it! Would definitely recommend!

Lots of extra light
Great addition for your Bambu Lab printer. I have one on each of my P1S'. Fit great. Easy to install. Adds functionality. Makes it easier to see your prints and helps if you add an external camera. Price is reasonable.

Massive upgrade!
if you have a P or X series printer, and don’t have this light upgrade yet then you’re really missing out. This thing is super easy to install. All you do is pull the connector from the factory light out of the board and then attach a short jumper that is included to a small board that connects to the new light. The light has magnets and simply sticks to the enclosure of the printer and there is a small piece of sticky tape to place the connector board Near the factory board. There is plenty space in the front left corner to do this. The quality of this item is terrific, and the functionality is amazing as you can see so much more in your printer. It also helps light your time lapse videos better too.

significant improvement in illumination, but installation is kind of a messy project
TLDR; installation is a pain, but it's worth it in the end. Annotated installation pictures are included in this review/how-to. I installed this on an X1E, which I believe has a different board than the X1C, but I'm not 100% sure about that. The installation instructions were terrible in general, but non-existent for the X1E model printer, so I had to figure it out myself. You need to remove the AMS, remove the top glass, and open the front door. Since you are working above the door, it's very difficult to see what you are doing. A headlamp helped. I finally figured out that the connector I needed to get to is under the gray ribbon cable. You have to unclip the ribbon cable to move it out of the way, same with the round black wire with the Ferrite bulge on it. You then have to remove the white glue with some tiny needle nose pliers from the 2-pin LED light connector (black and red wires) and then carefully remove the itty-bitty connector by pulling straight out using the pliers (carefully). You then plug in the new jumper wire (provided) to the old board connector, then connect the other end to the new, small "splitter board" (provided). I then stuck the new board just under the black Ferrite, sticking it to the flat ribbon cable against the wall using the double stick tape already on the bottom of the splitter board PCB. They claim the lightbar just sticks with the magnets, but the magnets are super lame. I don't trust them. think a light breeze would hold this thing better than the magnets. They also provide some 3M double stick tape squares, but those are also useless as they are too thin. There are two clips that protrude down from above the ledge on which you are supposed to mount this thing, so the light bar will NOT sit flush (at least on my machine) on the metal. That is why the provided tape doesn't work - it's too thin. I ended up using some thicker double-stick foam tape (3M VHB) I had around in order to provide enough space for the light bar to "fly" over the two clips and stick to the ledge. While you CAN plug the original (front) Bambu light into the splitter board, they recommend that you do NOT do that since the LED drive circuit will be overloaded. So the wire from the original LED was just tucked out of the way and abandoned. I'm not sure if the X1E has an extra LED light bar (it has 2), or if all the X1's are like this, but the original Bambu light on the left side is still there and still works. I didn't have to fiddle with any of it's wires at all. Anyway, after 30 minutes of muttering to myself, I finally got it all installed and back together. The light is SO much better than stock, so gritting your way through the installation is still worth it.

Really lights up the build space
This is a great and inexpensive upgrade for the BambuLab printers. Installation was very easy since it is magnetic, and the light board simply sticks to the chassis with the included double-sided tape. It feels very well made and fits the chassis perfectly. The light is easily controlled through the printer's control panel, and it lights the printer cabin much better than the stock light.

Really illuminates my X1C!
This was the perfect addition to my Bambu X1 Carbon printer. The installation was simple and it really lights up the bed so I can see inside and for time-lapse videos. I have my printer in a dark corner, and if I print with dark filament, it's REALLY hard to see - even with the under-powered stock light that comes with the printer. I can turn on the light via the touchscreen display and immediately see my print. This is a must for Bambu owners!

A must for a P1S
The light is bright, easy to install, with an almost factory like install and function. Great value for the money.

Very happy with the biqu panda led upgrade for the p1s

This is definitely not an upgrade! What a waste of time and money. Does not light up anywhere near what is claimed.
