Machine broke after two days.
This product lasted two days before breaking. The plastic around the handle is extremely thin and snapped as I closed the lid. The instructions state not to overload the sandwich toaster, but I only placed two slices of pre-sliced cheese and two slices of wafer-thin ham in the machine. No salad, no additional fillings, that was it. The problem arose when I tried to use "toastie" bread in the toastie machine. Do not buy this product if you wish to use anything thicker than medium sliced bread.

Great Waffles
Recently had an urge for some waffles and saw this, needed a new toastie maker so this was a perfect combo, they both work really well, plates are really easy to change and swap out, makes great waffles, easy to clean just becarful not to overfill as it can spill out.

Broken handle
The handle snapped after 3 months, after normal usage. I've been trying without success to return it as I believe it should still be under guarantee. Philips told me to contact Amazon over the issue of guarantee, but there does not appear to be the means to do so
