I've had this running consistently every day to charge/power to my laptop, run two additional monitors (3rd one is on HDMI from the laptop), and connect different peripherals for the last 8 or 9 months. It gets a workout every day and is still going. As you can see, I used Velcro to attach it to the side of my desk. It gets moderately warm, but I've only had to reset it a couple of times, which is probably more due to the laptop than this hub. Before this one I had one with the same setup and it got hot and failed within 30 days. Everything connects well, I charge stuff on it, and overall it has been a great product. Great value for the money spent.

I recently bought two Dell monitors and a stand up desk from FB, and I have a windows laptop and MacBook for school (I am a college student that loves to use MacBook for everyday use but use the windows for Analytics/Excel purposes). Previously, I had one Samsung monitor I used at school that I connected with hub to HDMI. However, these monitors I purchased had DP to DP, so I needed to buy a new hub that had two DP. I bought this hub and it has worked great so far. I will note that I can only use both monitors at the same time with the windows laptop, as the MacBook cannot extend to two monitors and can only be used with one monitor at a time. But overall, this product is great and I am able to connect my mouse/keyboard via USB and have everything on one connector for easy accessibility. I love the setup and the hub has been a great purchase for what I needed, something easy to use and not too expensive. I do anticipate the hub to get hot when using the monitors for a long time. Totally recommend this product!

Wanted to have the option for two USB C display ports and two USB C 10g data ports in one device. This was the only option I could locate. Confirmed the data ports do support 10gbps via external NVME drive. Confirmed each display port would drive an external monitor via a USB C to HDMI cable. Also confirmed that the data ports will NOT do displays, and the display ports will NOT do data. Fine with me for my needs.Also was able to power my Gram 16 via the PD-in on the hub.Untested so far: Anything more than one Display out and one data connection simultaneously.So far, 5 stars for everything working initially, and the unique capabilities of Alt Mode display plus data in a single hub.

So far working great with 3 monitors connected. However, I needed to connect the Ethernet directly to my laptop because it kept dropping the connect on the hub.

The two video ports still work but both of the remaining usb c ports have failed, which really makes most of the device pointless, especially considering there are video adapters out there for less.I had both pc and Mac computers not like power delivery through this unit. Kept getting ramped down, even on a 30watt macbook air.

Love this adapter! It’s super quiet, very light weight, and looks great on my desk. Appreciate how all three HDMI ports and the USB-C input/output are neatly lined up— looks clean and makes cable management a breeze. Highly recommend this product!

I bought this as an at home item for my work computer so I wouldn't have to bring my docking station back and forth every day. I found it worked well with just the computer and one or two more items plugged in. However, when I plugged in both monitors along with the computer and mouse/keyboard plug it didn't work well and I could not figure out at first why the mouse and keyboard weren't working. So while it appears to allow many types of electronic plug ins, that doesn't mean you can plug in several at once.

I needed to connect 3 monitors to my laptop and found this after an extensive research. So far it’s doing exactly what is supposed to. 0 issues from day 1
