Protects your expensive chalk
It serves its purpose. It has a magnetic bottom and has the other side of the magnet in the package, but nothing to connect it to. And doesn't seem practical to use. Wish it has some instructions or recommendations for using the magnet.

it's ok, but needs improvement.
This has a few issues. Mainly that the magnet isn't strong enough on the pocket clip and the chalk only needs a small bump to fall off. The other annoying one is the set screw needs blue locktite on it from the factory. It doesn't like to stay tight because of how small it is, and if you tighten too much it damages the chalk. If I designed this it would have 2 slightly larger set screws closer to the base of the holder. Get more holding tension with more surface area as well as the pressure on teh chalk more spread out.
