What an easy way to join glued corner frames! I had to learn how to use it before I used it! I know that might not make sense but I had to use some brain power in making the clamp work to perfection. Before adding the glue to my 45* corners, I set the frame together like I wanted and then set the strapped corners where I wanted. I found out that the outside corners needed to be elevated about .5" to allow the corners of the clamp to not slip off the wood when I tightened the strap. Once I figured that little trick out, I was ready to use the glue. Since the glue doesn't set up instantly, you will have time to make sure all the wood angles lineup properly as you tighten the strap. It's easy to make adjustments. You'll soon know when you have it as tight as you need. If I put too much glue and it squeezed out onto the plastic corner piece, I had no trouble like some others have stated, in removing when all is dried/cured. Overall, I'd say my joints look professionally done!

Cheap construction. I don't expect it will last very long.

I got some maps for my office but they came with odd measurements making finding a frame for them impossible. I'm a woodworker so I decided to just make two myself. This clamp worked perfectly and the frames had some of the best mitered joints I've ever made

This has made putting together frames and wooden boxes very easy.

I'm using this band clamp in a woodworking project. The clamp was just what I needed and it works well, and it isn't expensive.

Does exactly what it is designed to do. Plastic pieces and straps. Don't try to over tighten as well... it is plastic...
