After reading the reviews, I bought one anyway. I don't have any trouble with it, it is fun to play with. I see in the reviews that someone complained that the forks aren't movable, like they were expecting real rideable forklift or something. Only thing that could be improved on is charging the battery, you have to pull the door off the bottom of it to plug the battery in and charge it, they could have made an external hole for the plug to charge it.

It’s a great product, works good and the kids love it. It was a gift for my husband but my kids play with it more. :). The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star is because the chain was missing. But other than that we loved it and will buy more. The kids want the whole collection now.

Excellent buy! It actually works to pick things up, it's pretty fast and works great on my hard wood floors and outside too, the steam thingy works. I bought it for my step son who is 18, he loved it. The battery lasts awhile, the sounds are on par, it's definitely durable and will hold up awhile, and the remote control is simple.

It works more like a real forklift than any we've tried. It has sound affects. It has a water basin that doesn't leak that spits out water vapor and makes, exhaust smoke I guess. He likes that. You have to start it. You have to press the key button to start it and then it will move and lift and back up and turn and scare the cat. Front forks do not tilt. They move up and down but they don't tilt forward or backward. Driver is a lego guy. So you can put any lego guy you want in there. Captain America drove it last week. Remote batteries are AA if I remember correctly, forklift battery is a removeable, rechargeable battery, so don't leave it on when you aren't using it. Remote has to be turned on as well, so once again, turn it off. Back up alarm, horn, and I think, for my husbands sanity, a silence mode? Don't hold me to that.

I got this from my son for his sixth birthday. He absolutely loves it. It works great, easy for him to control. Highly recommend if you have a kid that is into construction or forklifts.
