Great Variety, but Not Much Glue
This kit came with an impressive variety of items, offering a lot of options for different bookbinding needs. However, some of the components weren't quite necessary for my specific project. While it included plenty of materials for fully binding books, I was primarily looking for supplies to create my own hardcovers, so some of the extras weren’t really needed. The amount of glue included was a bit sparse, though it did come with an abundance of cheesecloth. On a positive note, the book press itself is incredibly sturdy and well-made, so I’m confident it will last for many years to come. Overall, while not everything was essential for my exact needs, the kit still offers great value, especially for anyone looking to explore a wider range of bookbinding techniques.

Received a defective wood cut.
Cheap, save your money. This looks like the cutting boards from Dollar tree, just with pre drilled holes. Mine cracked in half on the first press.Update.Seller reached out to me and offered a replacement or a refund after leaving this review. They assured me that every batch they typically have one that gives issues due to the cut of wood. They were very professional and refunded my money after I had already purchased a different press.

Perfect starter Kit
It's easy to use and set up. The instructions are simple and easy to follow. It's a great kit and the press works perfectly. I do wish it came with a larger bottle of adhesive but I did end up buying some from another company just so I have enough for the projects I'm working on and won't run out quickly.
