As you can see from the "before" photo, my spices were a mess. These racks are a perfect solution! (In case you're wondering, the bottles, black labels and the metal baskets in the cubbies to the left of the spice cabinet were all also purchased from Amazon.) These were really easy to install. The directions were easy to understand. I would warn anyone planning to use glass bottles to make sure the second shelf is well secured. I bought metal shelf clips/brackets that allowed me to screw them to the underneath of the shelf after it's installed (which I did AFTER installing the spice rack.) With a shelf that's just sitting on top of the clips/brackets (or with flimsy plastic clips) when you pull down the rack heavy with glass bottles, it will tip the shelf forward. For the bottom shelf, as others have mentioned, the cabinet has a raise edge at the front. When installing per the directions, the middle of the rack came to rest on that edge, rather than dropping down all of the way to the back, top rack. I solved that by reinstalling it 1 inch forward from where it was and now it drops down fully, as you can see in the video and photos. I think I may attach some cabinet bumpers to the underside of the back, top rack to give it a bit of a buffer when it drops onto the cabinet ledge. Just for reference, my cabinet is 18 inches wide with a 15 inch opening and 11 inch interior depth. Oh, and the little rubber rings that are intended to hold the cross bars in place are handy in keeping everything together when installing, but they don't stay on all that well after. However, if you installed the racks correctly, the rubber rings aren't really necessary.

I got two of these spice organizers to help with my cabinet chaos. They were easily installed and drop down like I hoped. They seem to be sturdy enough. My only concern is the screws they came with are quite short and I fear after lots of use they may pull out. But that remains to be seen. One of the installation brackets was not correctly drilled but I contacted the seller and they promptly sent a new bracket.

In a small kitchen you've got to make good use of space, which this definitely does! The rack pulls down easily and stays put when you push it back up. In addition to a 15" wide cabinet, there probably should be 10.5-11" height to the next shelf. My shelves are 9.5" apart and I can only put very short containers on the top rack. Screws provided are very short so I used longer ones for more stability. Hint - easy to install if you pull the shelf out first 😉.

For years I've struggled to see spices tucked on high shelves and in the back of my upper cabinets. Invariably I rebuy spices that I already have just because I couldn't find them and sometimes having to get a stool and empty the entire shelf. This is a game changer. I should have shopped for it long ago. As others have said, installation requires more than a screw driver and the written directions are not as clear as they could be but the video does help clarify. Overall this is an excellent, sturdy product with a nice stainless look finish and it holds many spice bottles. Solved my kitchen problem perfectly and I highly recommend!

It works so well, and enables you to stop BURYING packs or spices 3/4 deep or on top of one another, or collecting bags of them in a bin. One solid hour or so of cleaning out your cupboard and combining your spices, downsizing etc, and you’ll have it set and be way more efficient. And most importantly, my mother can now teach everything in the shelf with ease.

I love this pull out shelf. Makes life a lot easier when it comes to finding my spices.
