Quality connectors, good price, case needs some tape & rubber bands
I ended up saving my car with these. I'm not kidding. The shop swore my car was dead. Do I took it another. Same story. Took it to another. They said they fixed the problem. Nope. I fixed them wrong with those dumb solder splicers. This was the wrong place to use solder that melts at boiling point of water. That ruined my ECU. Next shop said they can't fix my car. I FIXED MY CAR WITH THESE. I still had to pay for the programming of an ECU but this is the correct solution for many kinds of automotive engine wires. Had the first shop simply used these, my ECU wouldn't have been ruined. True story, that dealer shop dismantled my suspension and placed the bolts on my engine pan under the engine, I guess because I thought that fixing wires wasn't impossible. Did that hurt their feelings? Watch out people. Car mechanicing is not what it used to be. You used to require the skills of a detective. Now they just read a scanner and "interpret" the results. The last shop saw my VVT wires had left a bunch of codes. Yes, a rat ate them. They were fixable and fixed but my ECU was fried by the short I made. Use these is the lesson learned. These are better than solder is many applications. I didn't know this. Also, watch out for ...rats. Solder doesn't really stick to some engine wires because they aren't copper. So for working and being inexpensive, I gave 5 stars but frankly the box fails. Those little dividers come out and that's a mess. The hinge is not a hinge but plastic that fatigues and breaks, spreading the connectors like fertilizer on the lawn. The latches come undone easily, same results. Use cloth medical tape on the hinge. Definitely and I mean it, use RELIABLE rubber bands, plural, for backup. They break sometimes. Easy fix for these amazing connectors that can keep a nice car out of the junkyard. I have used crimp ends, not wirefy, they were aluminum and extremely cheap and of course they were not so great. These are a different animal entirely. This material is good. Crimping tool is a must. You can't get away with those old crimpers that came with those cheap aluminum ones, so forget about that stuff and get professional, with these. Use the shrink wrap with glue inside. Perfect combination. If I had it to do over and had the money, I'd buy the wirefy kit with crimper and strippers and the die set for each type. Maybe someday. My crimpers were an Amazon recommendation and they were reasonably priced and work way better than I expected, but no die changes. Smush is all you get. Smush. But it works great, so if you are on a budget don't sweat it. Smush ensures that each strand is pressed onto the metal of the crimp connector and that's as good as it gets in electrical connection. So this was irrelevant in a way, because of the crimper, but the point is other crimpers aren't perfect but are really fine with these, though wirefy is best. DEFINITELY get the shrink wrap with glue inside, if it's an automotive application. That stuff was perfect with these. It maintains the tensile strength and keeps out the oxygen and water.Crimp connectors 5case 2 but you can make do with tape and a rubber bands. It's cheap but they put the money into the connectors. I get it. Besides, cloth medical tape is great for lots of things, duct tape is fine. Definitely use rubber bands or you WIL regret it. Try these. They worked.

Making my jobs easier
Good quality control - didn't have any defective splices in the whole kit. Won't think twice about reordering when I run low.

Good Quality Butt Connectors
I bought these along with a crimping tool. These butt connectors are really nice. They crimp solid and hold wires together very well. I put a piece of heat shrink tubing over it to finish it off. I would recommend these if you need a plain butt connector. I prefer these over the ones with the plastic on them; I think they crimp better and then you can add your own shrink tubing. Great product.

Actually a very good butt splice.
Well worth the cost. I’ll buy more.

high quality crimps
This is some good stuff. They are thick, about 1mm, and hold the wire extremely strongly. Pull-out force on 14AWG wire is over 100lb; I was unable to pull it apart with my hands.Would highly recommend these over other Chinese-brand crimps. They are excellent value.Just don't forget to buy and install the heat shrink before crimping. And do a pull-out test on each crimp after you're done!

Crimp on both sides for perfection
These work great. I use a ratcheting crimping tool and crimp both sides separately. Very pleased.

Terminales
