VALHALLA Hair Beads Opener

A truly remarkable item. I managed to put it on my beard by myself, but it may be a bit easier with 2 people. Very well made, the design is a great idea, and the ornate design on it is a plus. Looking forward to seeing how it works when I am riding my motorcycle. Since it is winter that will be posted at a later date. Extreme happy with the item.

So sadly my beard wasn't as long as I thought it was to support the weight of this bead, BUT, the mustache portion of my facial hair did support its weight. I primarily bought this as an experiment to see if I could wear such things and it does look fantastic, but I need to wait longer until my beard is just a little longer to hold this. The design is beautiful, I fully endorse this engraving as an accent to a goatee or to hold the mustache portion on either side. It is easy to snap open and close, easy to clean, and it's not insanely large, in fact, it's a lot more lightweight than I thought it would be. I did put it through a water test with shampoo mixed in to see if it would tarnish, or remove any portion of the design, and it held strong after several hours. I would highly recommend this bead AND the seller!

Looks great and functions as I'd hoped

Bought one and loved it. Easy to use, stays in place, perfect! Liked it so much decided to get a second one in case I misplaced it or wanted to use two at once. The second one is incredibly difficult to open, the snap seems to lock in place actually to the point that I use a small screwdriver to pry it open. Again, I like it a lot but if I would have gotten the second one first, I would have been dissatisfied!

At first I was really excited and got a lot of compliments. Now a couple days later and it does not stay closed and useless.

I read some reviews about this being small, and I took that into consideration but dang is this SMALL! Why is this $16.99? Why did I pay such a high price for this itty-bitty hinged bead? That’s a good question! The materiel does seem like it would hold up. It seems sturdy and well-made. I do like the design. It is quite heavy. Whether or not you want heavy is up to you. I will probably put this to use in a paracord project, as it did not fit my needs as a beard bead. I do not think this is worth nearly $20, however. That is a very high price for this bead.
