A great way to learn
My grandchildren love this. A great way to learn about animals and get children thinking. The cards are colorful and made with a semi thick material. They are holding up well. There seems to be a fair amount of information about the subject.

Very easy, quick game
Love this simple game, playing it as a family with an 8 & 10 year old.. both neurodivergent and have some major issues with losing. This game allows us to 'win/lose' rounds very quickly (anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes depending on players) but the game doesn't end until all the cards are gone (avg .. maybe 20 minutes?). I love this because we can really practice those skills of "it's just a game" "it's ok to lose" "we're playing to have fun" etc. as well as graceful winning.

Quick fun!
Think rock paper scissors kicked up a notch. Very easy to learn (even for some drunk distracted friends) and super quick to play.

"I get the rules.... but that's the point?"
My kids (8 and 10) and I got through most of one game before determining we were having absolutely no fun playing Garden Variety. To quote my 8 year old "I get the rules.... but what's the point"?The rules seem.thrown together, some of the cards prompts are unclear, but ultimately, there was nothing drawing us in while figuring it out. I guess it was worth the $4 Black Friday deal to say we tried, but I'd want my money back if I spent much more.
