I got these as a gift for my wife and she absolutely loves them. She's recently gotten into drawing and shading and such and I think these are super nice for exactly what she needs. They come with 12 different pencil thicknesses that are all stamped on the pencil itself. They sharpen really nicely and she can't say enough about how much she loves the pencils. Super great specially since the price is very affordable as well.

Great Range of Choices
These are amazing pencils. I had originally bought a set from the Michaels nearby where I live, and I didn't like that they had so few choices as far as lead weight for such an expensive price, but it was a starter set so I wanted to see if I would like it. I have drawn several pictures with these and the darkness of the lead is true to what it is labeled. I am just an amateur artist so I can't speak for the quality, I just know they work well for me. Would love to buy more if I ever needed to replace this set!

These are great pencils for sketching & shading. They dont break apart after sharpening.

As an illustrator, these are pretty good pencils for the price.
I am a professional artist and illustrator. These pencils are some of my favorite ones to use and I love that I can get them in 9B-9H (which is a wide range). I have used these to do illustrations for two books now and really have liked the quality and the price of the pencils. When I need more pencils, these are the ones I purchase, every time (so far).

Easy to sharpen, easy to carry, and good quality overall
Excellent quality. The graphite does not break every time I sharpen them like some other brands I have used. Case is metal and solid. Pencils fit in there nicely and that makes it easy to carry, The wood is also of good quality and that also make them easy to sharpen.I would recommend this set for beginners and professionals.

They break constantly
I bought these because they were recommended by the course Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain. Ah! They’re so terrible. I can’t even get them to fully sharpen. They just break and break and then break again. So frustrating and a disappointing waste of money.
