We bought this in June, but because of poor summer we have only just used it. We did exactly as the video. Pressure washed block paving, re sanded, made sure no sand was on block paving, we used a gentle blower. The we sealed using a sprayer. There are fumes from the product and the smell is not unlike Evo stick, but because you are in the fresh air it's not too bad. We are very happy with the outcome, but we did need to use 2 of the 25litre drums so it's not cheap. But you get the satisfaction of the all the front and driveway looking good. Now we will have to buy more to do the back patio and pathway. Would recommend.

I am back in love with my block paving after spending years continually clearing moss and weeds. So easy for a 57 year old unfit widow to apply. The hardest bit is preparing the surface but it goes on a dream with a roller brush. Wearing eye and breathing protection a must. I started off wearing shorts as it was a warm day but burned when i accidentally splashed on my leg. Long trousers a must. Well worth the investment.

Good Product

Was easy to apply. Jet washed and cleaned the block paving first. Used a brush to apply the seal around the edges the rest with a roller on a long handle. The finished result is great. The paving looks like new, even though it is 20 + years old. A lovely sparkle especially when the sun shines on it.Only a couple of weeks since applied, but so far no weeds coming through. If that continues worth every penny.

Whilst this product is not the cheapest I found it extremely easy to apply to my new drive using a roller. I did find that this product covered much further than quoted on the smart seal website, I acquired 2 X 25litre cans based on the recommended information on the website assuming the recommended 2 coats were to be applied. However, I found I was able to give my drive an additional 3rd generous coat and I still have a approx 10 litres remaining.The silk finish of this product just looks right for my grey Trident paving, it does not look over the top like some wet look sealers provide. However, one thing I have noticed since it was applied a week ago is when it rains you do get some water marks left on the surface when the rain water dry's out.Two things to be a little wary of when applying this product.1. This product has a very strong aroma.2. Be careful not to get the product on any grass or plants. I accidently put my roller head briefly on my lawn which is adjacent to my drive only to find the grass in the shape of my roller head died within a couple of days.

It’s true that the hard work is in the preparation. However once completed the sealant is easy to apply. If you follow the instructions the results are very impressive on my 10 year old block paved driveway. Definitely consider purchasing Faithfull FAIPBSCUTTLE-TB 15L Paint Scuttle, Coral 42701 Paint Roller Frame Double Arm, Black, 12" Fixed and the oral 76601 Paint Roller Rapid Lock Extension Pole, Black, 1.3-2.4m for application. These tools make the job straightforward and efficient. Then you have them for next time!Recommended.

Takes a lot of prep work and consistent application otherwise it shows. I used it on my block paved drive and one thing I would recommend is the use of a compatible sprayer instead of a roller which frustratingly lifted sand from between block paving and messed up the final finish.The most expensive of similar products but looks like it is of good quality-time will tell!

Does what it says on the drum! Spent a while pondering on this product, watched the u-tube stuff and decided to get some. A 25 litre drum arrived, thought this would be enough but I had to buy another one. It’s a thicker solution than what I expected so didn’t go as far as I thought. Used on block paving driveway. The drum stated the coverage so I should have known better. Applied with a nine inch roller and pole, brushed around the edges. Strong odour. Seems to have dried well and looks pretty good. Kept the car off for 24 hours. I would use again if I had more to do.
