Amazon Basics Camping Chair

So comfortable, perfect for sitting around a fire for hours. It's nice and big but it folds up easily. I like the cooler pouch in the arm.

I am so impressed after receiving my Amazon Basics Camping Chair. First of all, it really did arrive in 2 days, on the day they said it would. The first thing I noticed was the ease of taking it out of its bag, and then later putting it back in the bag. Very easy to do. The chair is so well-made and very comfortable to sit in. It's sturdy, and there is nothing I didn't like about it. I loved the zippered-closed insulated cooler bag that can hold 4 cans easily. And the drink holder. I spent a lot of time online searching bag chairs and I am so glad this is the one I picked.

There isn’t a measurement image to show how big the chair is, it is small. Would be good for a teenager or older kid. It’s barely 18” wide. However, the color is vibrant, the material appears to be sturdy. The stitching is well done and the cooler in the arm is very nice. I also like the mesh on the back for cooling. I will keep it as my spare but plan on purchasing a larger one. My 63 lb malinois doesn’t fit comfortably so obviously we need a bigger one.

This chair is great. What I look for in a portable folding chair.... - comfort - portability - convenience features - price and (now this is the big one)..... - ease of getting the chair back in the carry bag. Comfort - It's easy to sit in this chair for a few hours. Great for beach goers. Soccer moms. Craft show vendors. Dog show participants and anyone else who needs portable place to park themselves. Portability - it's not a feather, but as far as portable bag chairs go this one is pretty easy to carry around and has a good shoulder strap for this purpose. Convenience features - little cooler bag or place to store wallet keys and anything else in one arm rest and cup holder in the other armrest. Doesn't get much more convenient than that in a portable chair Price - I know prices fluctuate but at least when I bought mine (Aug 2025) this was incredibly reasonable. Ease of putting it back in the bag - seriously could not be much easier. It goes right in and fits as perfectly as it fit when it was first opened. No fuss. It took under 2 minutes. Honestly a breeze BOTTOM LINE: if you need a portable chair, look no further. Seriously I doubt you will find anything that checks all the boxes at this price point. Just be sure to check the weight limit of the chair if you happen to be either large or weighty

The chair arrived on time, I find it to be very comfortable/roomy and it's well worth the price. I also like the fact that it is as described w/the cup holder, cooler, and has a side pocket for magazines/books. I like that not only can I fit 4 12 oz cans of beverages, but w/out those, I can fit my single 25oz water bottle, which I tend to use more frequently. Plus it's easy to carry around. If you're looking for a decent chair, I think you're getting your money's worth w/this one.

I just got this for my wife as we'd ordered a oversized one (too big) and got this one. This one is more of a standard size but the quality is really good.

I sit in this chair every day, and so far my butt hasn't busted through it. It is comfy and seems to be well made. Amazon Basics has some quality products for lower than average prices!

Not for me. I am petite at 5'1" and this was very uncomfortable. I got the basic version with no padding. While it was fine enough to sit in for 3 hours, I realized afterwards that my tailbone got bruised! I understand that ergonomics are hard to find in camping chairs, but there are clearly better options out there. Cons - The back is at an uncomfortable 90 degree angle so I needed a separate back pillow for support. There is no recline. - The front of the chair sags so it kind of squeezes my legs together / adds light pressure to the back of my thighs. (If you're tall/average maybe this is fine for you) - Non padded version is–as you'd expect–very not padded. Lesson learned, I will pay the extra for padded. - Not a deal breaker but worth mentioning: At 8lbs it's a little bulky for the lack of comfort. - Smelled like chemicals out of the box. Had air it for 48 hrs before it was bearable to sit in. Yuck. Pros: - Seems sturdy to me - Easy to set up, easy to move - Easy to get in and out of. Normal chair height vs sitting low to the ground. - Lots of storage. Fit my 24oz plastic water bottle (Owalla) comfortably. I didn't try the insulated pocket. - I was able to keep my feet mostly flat on the ground despite being short - I could lay my neck on the back of the chair to look at the sky! Probably doesn't apply to taller folks though. - Very affordable for the market and the chair perks you get - Bonus: I was able to hang my light backpack (~5lb total) on the back corner of the chair without the chair tipping, even if I wasn't sitting in it. But overall... I'm looking for a comfortable chair, and the basic non padded version is not for me. I'd say the biggest deal breakers are the 90 degree seat back and the lack of padding in the chair. I learned that this makes a big difference.

Muy buena silla mejor que las Academy y tiene compartimentos muy prácticos.

Me ha gustado mucho esta silla, es una buena silla, amplia, cómoda, y se la ve de bastante buena calidad, es más grande que la mayoría de las sillas de camping. De hecho la compré por eso, para mi pareja que es voluminoso y alto, y pesa 100 kg, y claro, tenía que ser una silla potente y resistente, a él le pareció cómoda, y lo que me gusto, es que la altura del asiento está más alta que las otras sillas que vi por internet, más alta de 40 cms, y así no te quedan las piernas colgando, para una persona alta de mínimo 1.70 cms es lo más adecuado, y justo él mide 1.80 cms, le venía perfecto. De hecho, yo mido eso y está justo tmb ideal para mis piernas, casi seguro compre otra para mi, pues la que tengo ahora, no me gusta pues es muy bajita e incómoda, pues no llego bien a la mesa que tenemos para cenar. Ahh además cuenta con una mini neverita en un lado del reposabrazos, si bien nosotros no lo usamos para eso, lo usamos para guardar esas cosas, que quieres tener más a mano, y sobretodo no quieres perder.

The best chair for camping . Not very lightweight in case it’s important got someone . I will buy another - it’s perfect .

Excellent camping chair. Very very comfortable. Is bit wide. The fabric used on it is strong & of fine quality. Also the metal used for frame is strong but light weight, hence easy to carry. Bonus is the huge bag in which you can carry the folded chair.
