Media Center Installation
The 5-ties media center required about 1 1/4 hours to install. Based on previous reviews, I suggest that all the dowl pins be glued into place with Elmers wood glue. All pieces fit together perfectly except door with plastic window required bending the frame to install. The only suggestion I have is if you intend to use this cabinet as a media center, you should have the option to install wheels for ease of moving. You could purchase after market wheels from Home Depot to install.

Cheap build materias flat garbage will not hold your expensive audio equipment.
The product didn’t meet the cost. Materials are cheap and my receiver barely fit in to the item. As of today 04/22/25. This item collapsed with my vintage stereo equipment on it. Fortunately my vintage pioneer PL55DX turntable didn’t fall bit my vintage Pioneer SX-850 receiver did on top of my CD player and my vintage vinyl. This thing is GARBAGE. DO NOT PURCHASE!!!

Not a bad for the price...
I am piecing together a decent hi-fi stereo system and I purchased this cabinet to place some stereo equipment in it/on it. After looking at other options online with legit heavy duty wood, I just could wing it right now price wise, and wanted something simple/cheaper to start out on.First off, do not except 'high quality' from this. It's nothing more but Ikea style material; like a particle board ordeal. The door is NOT glass, it's like a light weight plexi glass. The knob on the door is a plastic material. The instructions where not to hard to follow for the most part, but the illustrations could have been a little cleaner. If you are use to putting these types of things together and use some common sense though, it's not hard to put together. While the material is pretty light weight, and cheap, it does get the job done. Once it is all together and all the screws are tight, it is pretty steady, and can hold a good amount of weight. If you don't plan on moving it around much, it's a solid option over all. The shelfs don't have a secure plates to hold them in place, so if you lean it forward, the shelving will simply slide right out. Once I put the door on, they didn't do that as easy, but just be cautious of thatEven though it is not the highest quality or the thickets material, it does LOOK good. At a distance, or first glance, it looks like a wooden cabinet with a glass door on it, but once you actually pull the door open, it's pretty light and flimsy. The one thing I absolutely HATED about putting this together, was the shrink wrap that put over the false glass on the door. The wrap was put on the plexi glass first, THEN they put it in the frame. So trying to peal all the plastic off it was a nightmare, and I actually had to take a box cutter and cut very carefully around the frame of the door to get it to all come off, and even then some of it was still around the edges (seen in my attached pictures). So I was NOT impressed at all with that.Over all, it's not a bad cabinet. It gets the job done, looks good, and will hold me over until I can find/afford a legit high quality wooden one.

Perfect for just about anything you want to store
The cabinet is built very well and has enough space to be utilized to store my snare drums for display in my studio. Very happy with the purchase!
