3-pc Set Premium Silicone Pencil Cap Holder + Lightning Adapter Tether + Tip Cover for Apple Pencil (Grey)

I bought this 5-piece set even thought there weren't any reviews. I was already looking for a cap holder, tip protector, and grips for the Apple Pencil ... so when I found this set, it seemed perfect. It also comes with a replacement cap.Color: I like the gray ; it contrasts well with the white Apple Pencil. The device looks good with the cap holder, long grip, and tip protector installedGrips: I wasn't intending to use the longer grip, but the shorter grip didn't stay in place for me (it was too loose), so I went ahead and installed the longer one. The longer grip is great, it doesn't move easily (which is good). The grips have an oval shape to them which is really nice. It was instantly more comfortable drawing with them installed.Tip Protector: It's a bit bulky, but it matches the set and will likely do its job well.Cap holder: I actually really like the design of this holder. I don't like the slack between the pencil and cap that most of the other holders have on Amazon.Overall: There wasn't any funky smell (I know some people comment on the smell on other similar products). All the components were easy to install; the long grip takes a tiny bit of patience to work it all the way up the pencil. The pieces are also very easy to remove when/if needed.I'll try to upload some pics and update the post to address the lifespan/durability of the product.I would recommend this product to a friend if they were looking for accessories.

Update: After 8 weeks of use the first Cap replacement it now is easily removed from the Pencil and prone to being "knocked off;" a disappointing result. A good observation after 8 weeks of use: they do not pick up dust on the exterior. I will still buy again, but I'm not as happy as I hoped to be. (The price decrease is welcome!)Recommended: OK, the price for 3 small pieces of silicon is ridiculous -- but it's a lot less than having to pay $99 for an entire Apple Pencil. I inquired of the seller ahead of time to make sure these were replacements (unlike some others advertised) and the seller promptly responded "yes." I now have them and "They Work." They do cover the plug securely and I'm fairly certain they won't fall off -- but, being silicon, they don't have a magnet connection (duhhh....of course not!) And, being silicon, they will probably pick up dust on the exterior .... but they will protect the plug, and that's what really matters. If Apple makes a replacement cap available for $10 I'll buy one to use instead of these silicon caps -- but, that's not going to happen, so I will be happy with these. (And, if I misplace the pink or dark grey perhaps they will be easier to find than the original Apple cap that has been lost!)

I have a skin on my apple pencil and didn't want it to be covered by a silicone sleeve. I considered a clear silicone sleeve, but over time I could imagine it yellowing. Still, I needed something that would improve my grip, yet still allow me to charge my apple pencil. I tried a regular pencil grip, but they were just too thick and wouldn't let the pencil to sit flush so it could charge. When I saw this kit i saw this piece in it which looked like it would work. It worked PERFECTLY!! Now I can show off my apple pencil skin and have a great grip all while being able to fit into my iPad case and charge. All the other pieces i just stick in a drawer in case I find a use for them.Over all, considering a pencil grip costs about 5 bucks i would say this kit is worth the money.

They do the job but are not very strong

I got this product because I lost the cap on my Apple Pencil. I had already bought a new cap and decided to get something to keep it on. I like to mess with my pencil cap and because of it, this stretched out after a few weeks. I would recommend getting this but know that it will get stretched out faster than you think.

Really love this little cap protector! I picked this one because it sits flat against the Apple pencil and is less likely to get caught on anything. I use my iPad in a clam shell case with a keyboard that has a side loop to hold the pencil and I was always worrying the cap would get knocked off when I take it out or put it back in my bag. After a week of heavy use it is still holding strong! Really love this, and the fact that you get 2 of them is great!

The cap part tends to slide up on the pencil cap and sometimes comes off when trying to remove the pencil cap. I took some coarse sandpaper rotated it on the pencil cap to slightly rough it up - problem solved. That quirk aside, I really like this item.

I love how it comes with 2! Although I’m not sure if I’ll be using the second one since this cap holder feels very durable. I also love how I don’t have struggles with putting my apple pencil into the pencil sleeves of my two cases. It is a little bulky as you can see in the pictures, but it still fits in my case and I don’t have problems with it. I also have no problems with charging the pencil with this cap holder on as you could see in the pictures. It fits snug onto the pencil, it doesn’t fall off. My apple pencil doesn’t feel heavy with it on. I don’t feel like I’ll ever lose the cap now! :)
