Interview with the Vampire - Season 2 [Blu-Ray]

I appreciated the exploration into the manipulation and madness of what it would mean to be a vampire... and how each may fight their most eternal emotion: loneliness.Maybe it wasn't an upgrade from the first season, but certainly a good continuation. The actors nailed every scene, and I felt even then that somehow there was more that could've been told from the writing point and direction as it was often rushed in some places. But I guess that's the unfortunate loss in this day and age where eight, 45 minute episodes are all we're allowed to have in one season rather than a full ten or twenty due to forced budgets. It's hard to bring books to life without missing a lot of the important notes or qualities, or adjusting crucial moments to work on the big screen. Overall it was delightful, fun, bloody, sensual, all the qualities that the books and original movie deserved to bring fully to light. I look forward to Lestat's rock debut in the next season.

Season 1 was amazing, and season 2 is just as good. Even though I've read the books, there were plenty of surprises, including some touching and frightening moments. The writing, the acting, the costumes, the sets are all top-notch. Sam Reid was born to play Lestat, and I can't wait to see what he does with the character in season 3!

I decided to give the show a chance and it really does a good job pulling you in. They picked perfect people for the roles in my opinion! Louis was and is my favorite character- Or maybe Lestat I cannot decide. I was a huge fan of the movie, but have not read the book Although I would like to. I thought it was a great show for Halloween! No problems with the video quality it was excellent. I purchased HD.

I didn’t fail to believe after seeing the talents from season one of Interview with the Vampire that the next season would suffer but it had a lot of challenges to take on, and has done so beautifully and in many ways, built up more love and gothic horror romance than the previous season.I cannot recommend this series enough. Which is rare for me, but if gore and blood bother you, I’d recommend caution.

OMG! The first season blew me away and this series followed up perfectly. If you have not seen it yet please check it out. Anne Rice would have been so proud because this is exactly the way she would have wanted it portrayed on the TV screen. RIP to the wonderful Anne Rice because without you we would not have Lestat or Louis!!!

Season 2 of Interview with the Vampire was just a treat to experience and I finally get to own it at home! The picture quality is amazing and I'm glad they've included the episode insiders this time. There are way more extras compared to S1's BD disc, I especially love the 6 art cards, I'm so gonna frame these.

Not as great as the 1st season but I enjoyed it nevertheless. The ending was better than I expected.

Im waiting for the next season now. I like the storyline they have going here and explaining different eras.

Delivered eventually hence likely once put back intial time. After watching first season compelling exploits gripping storytelling well set up turns,twists. Just had purchase second season left opened the door to more untold stages. Clearly bringing recasting into the fray of Claudia likely possible to occur which didn't surprise me,black offbeat humour switch to new backdrop location. Cast generally eclipses and visuals are praising and regarding. Maybe season 3 in the offering wait and see. Just keep rolling
