I've tried out several 6 ring binder style journals and this is by far my favorite. Here are the details:1) About an inch in diameter for the rings. Which is not too small or too large. It allows for room to add extra pages (which was my main criteria for the purchase).2) Nice loop to hold your pen (the material is just right)3) The magnet to close the binder is strong and long enough to do its job.4) For the price, the cover is a great quality, it is durable and looks really nice.5) The overall size is not bulky.

Beautifully made. Wish it was a one inch rather than half inch binder. Fits perfectly in my purse.

I bought the red one and use this planner/ journal everyday! Just the a5 size fits nicely in my purse. It has taken a beaten past several months and still looks new. Fun to customize.
