Cluster hooks---Vehicle make specific---GENIUS!
This tow strap is unlike any I’ve ever seen, and I’m not a novice to towing disabled vehicles down back roads, mountain curves and country highways, nor of recovering vehicles from snow banks and ditches for friends and neighbors. Don’t ask me why. Normally, though, we use a ratchet strap and chain which are hooked to somewhere on the middle of the front frame on the towed vehicle and to the trailer hitch on the towing vehicle. Then, with bated breath, we manage to get the disabled vehicle home or at least out of the snow bank. This tow strap with the V bridle and cluster hooks takes the art of DIY recovery and towing to a new level. The set of three hooks in each cluster are an R hook, a J hook, and a T hook— The idea that each is frame-specific is wild!I haven’t used this yet, but according to my research, apparently the T hook is for the frame holes on most GMC products, the J hook for many foreign vehicles, and the R hook for Fords. To be able to hook onto vehicles by inserting these hooks into frame holes instead of having to dig out and crawl underneath to wrap a tow strap around someplace on the frame will be a luxury. Distributing the weight with the V bridle has to make any towing task more stable and therefore safer. Heavy duty, genius engineering. I’m thinking of buying a few more sets as gifts for my sons!

Heavy duty and built to last
The FITHOIST Tow Straps V Bridle w/RTJ Cluster Hooks are perfect for pulling vehicles out of ditches and other perilous situations. We've used it multiple times because people can't drive and keep finding themselves in the ditch along our property. Love that the hooks are specific to the makes of vehicles. That makes it very easy to know which one to use for the job. I can see this being a product we'll be able to use for a long time. It's come in handy for pulling some farm equipment as well. I appreciate the quality and the heavy duty feel of it, as well as the flawless function.

Heavy Duty Tow Straps with Hooks for Towing and Recovery are heavy-duty and seem to be well-made.
These FITHOIST Tow Straps V Bridle w/RTJ Cluster Hooks | 3" x 24'' Recovery V Strap for Car Hauler, Wrecker Rollback | 5400 lbs Working Load | Heavy Duty Tow Straps with Hooks for Towing and Recoveryare very heavy-duty and seem to be well-made. Just one RTJ Cluster Hook (consisting of an R hook, J hook, and a T hook) is claimed to provide a type of "frame attachment hook" for three different vehicle types, specifically; (1) R Hook: Compatible with Ford Vehicles; (2) T Hook: Compatible with GM/Chrysler; and, (3) J Hook: Compatible with foreign-made vehicles. The fact that the Cluster Hook has all three hook types attached together, so any one hook can be applied to the frame holes found on all vehicle types, makes for greater usefulness. As for the "V BRIDLE" type of strap set-up, I am convinced that when doing any type of vehicle recovery, its best to employ a Bridle method of recovery. This particular strap seems of good quality and will help in my efforts to better distribute the load in any recovery effort. Specifically, if a stuck vehicle has two frame-mounted recovery connection points in the direction you intend to pull, it is best to consider using both connection points by setting up a recovery bridle. Synopsis: A bridle allows the pull force on a stuck vehicle to align more closely with the center line of the vehicle. Using a single recovery point that is off-center produces a higher amount of stress on that side of the vehicle. Using two frame-mounted recovery points distributes the pulling force between two connections; thus, increasing safety & preventing possible frame damage.
