Depends. If we are talking Dianna Troy, we're talking millions. If we are talking how much 1 troy ounce is worth it depends on the current spot price, which can be found on numerous websites (I like JMBullion). Keep in mind, however, that the troy ounce isnt the same as a "cooking" ounce. 1 troy Oounce is a little over 31 grams. A standard ounce is somewhere around 28 grams. Hope this helps.

These are grams not ounces...for smaller amounts you generally pay a premium for conveinence plus the fact that they have a neat design on them. For instance: whatever GOLD is right now about $1263 an ounce to buy a gram is about $60 to $65 there are 31 grams in an ounce 31x60 is a $1860.

Let me know HOW MANY you have to buy to get that price?, as I assure you that you will not find a single gram for only $0.54. I figure you would have to buy several if not many thousands of grams to get that price, as I buy at least a thousand at a time and cant get it that low, but you are correct with the price of a gram as it can me googled. This is a deep whosesale price then it is sold again and again to the premium price of as much as $5.00 per gram. It has to be sold at those prices due to the costs of fees from selling sites and shipping costs. On the tophatter website 1 gram will cost you $6.00, on ebay its about $2.00 for a single gram, on webstore from $3.50 to $28 per gram. The same is with the price of a gram of gold, if you do the research you will find this to be true also.
To get silver priced less you have to buy bigger amounts or sizes like ounces or pounds the smaller the size the higher the price for conveinence for trading. If you want to but something that costs $1 how are you going to pay for it with an ounce of silver that is =to 31 grams are you going to scrape off a little silver, no your going to pay with a gram instead  that is the concept behind smaller amounts. Just like coins and a dollar you need the change to buy less expensive stuff.
