Thor Hammer
Very Good Product, you won't go amiss when buying this, for the price , I paid under a tenner on Amazon with there combined over ten pounds postage thing! Carpenters & Joiners will know about these, but DIY,rs , its for non marring, or softer blows, the heads can be purchased separately from Thor, in different types, Red, Grey, etc. nb. There are different weights of this hammer, and many types of thor hammer, this one I found to be the nearest to my Estwing Hammer 20 oz, please note, this weight is for my personal taste. Good Luck

As hammers go, it’s a good one
Needed a light hammer to tap tight fitting, slightly brittle, plugs. This does the job well and so far has saved me smashing or cracking any of these plastic plugs. It’s a hammer. A nice hammer. If you need a hammer for persuading plugs, dowels, bolts, etc, this is a good one at a great price.

Thor 708 Nylon Hammer 1/2 lb
Great item, very quick delivery despite me only requesting standard. Product is perfect. The only mistake I made was buying this for tapping in glazing on a conservatory. The head of the hammer is the perfect size, however get a heavier hammer if you are fitting internally glazed sheets using plastic beading to secure. This hammer is not really heavy enough for larger panes of glass. That said - that was my mistake, not the product. Hammer is excellent and would buy again from this seller.

Good finish on the Hammer. It is used to line up items on a Milling machine and other jobs where you don't want to mark the item.

Made in Britain by a family owned business
What I like most about this Thor hammer is that its made in Britain. Since my purchase was a nylon tipped hammer it doesn't have a 'hide end' The hide ends come from Water Buffolo so I guess are imported as skins! Back to my hammer. The end can be replaced and I bought a spare at the same time as the hammer. What don't I like? well I didn't like the 'Thor' sticker which I peeled off and then had to wipe adhesive off which some white spirit and a rag. Surely it's possible to 'brand' the handle without weakening it and save a little bit of plastic?

Arrived with defects/damage
Whilst the hammer is fit for purposes it arrived with what look like production defects, to both the metal section and nylon heads, see photos. Proudly made in England…
